How was the barb not polished? The class is fine...it just wasn't for me. I think totally remodeling it is going to take away from the nostalgia of D2. The barb shouldn't just change.

Not all of the original D2 chars will be in D3. This is kinda sad IMHO. I'm gonna miss the paladin, amazon, and necro.

Dueling games nowadays have cheaters all over...

If you want to experience the game, you can't afford to hold up on your skill points. If you get rushed and do cow/baal runs you can hold off on the points.

The real purpose of the gemstone: Whenever a player clicks it, a game with a hardcore players is lagged out. Upon lagging out the hardcore player dies and the gem's purpose is complete.

Well, yes, the sanity is gone.

I can't wait for D3. I hope they keep up on the storyline side of things and don't drop the ball and make it like every other MMO.

I think I am going to logon and make a HC character now. =)

I have played since I was a young kid. I remember dying the first time I ever played in the Blood Moor.

Jamella's D2 Hero Editor came out and someone hacked my Amazon on open bnet. I was so happy to hit 99 I was going crazy haha.

I then switch to closed bnet, and ran cows to level up. I remember the windforce bows and the "white" rings which absorbed all magic.

Since then I have played on and off. I am thinking about starting again and doing HC only.

Well, that's my Diablo career cut down to 20 words.
