Feb 22, 2010Hans posted a message on Crafting in Diablo IIII think you do have a chance to wipe the item. That is what I read at the forums for Torchlight. I think some mods are out that have removed that feature.Posted in: News

Feb 20, 2010Hans posted a message on Crafting in Diablo IIIES comes with PlugY. A good portion of mods come with PlugY or you can install PlugY with it.Posted in: News
PlugY has been known to cause issues with the stash when playing multiplayer. The issue lies within the use of the extra stash pages. It is best to backup the shared stash file to another folder before playing Lan.
Eastern Sun has a special stash Switcher to be used when playing multiplayer.
Which version of LoD patch are you running. Most mods are designed for 1.09 or 1.10. Eastern sun is one of the few mods that added a launcher to load the game and it will backup the diablo files to a backup folder while it loads the 1.10 files needed to play. For 1.12 download version you need to use a program that will run a cd check since 1.10 still needs the cd check to run before loading the game. If you have more questions feel free to PM me or post in the Official ES thread. -
Feb 20, 2010Hans posted a message on Crafting in Diablo IIIYou may want to try PlugY mod. It gives you infinite stash for personal and shared. You can also see more stats on your character by flipping to the next page on the main character stats page.Posted in: News

I do not mind if it fails if one of the mods gets worse. It would be paying respect to the orginal D1. -
Feb 19, 2010Hans posted a message on Crafting in Diablo IIICrafting was one of the reasons I bought LoD. Then found out that it was not fully developed that it should have been.Posted in: News

Feb 19, 2010Hans posted a message on Crafting in Diablo IIIEnchantments can be done on any item. The thing is that the boosts will be small and it will be balanced due to adding a level requirement to the item.Posted in: News
I like the idea of making my own items. -
Feb 19, 2010Hans posted a message on Crafting in Diablo IIII loved to craft in LoD. I just found it was a little to costly to craft since of the runes needed. My luck was that I could never find the one I needed for the craft. This was before you can upgrade the runes.Posted in: News
I think the timing about a hint on crafting came at a good time. In the last week I started the Third Craftsman Tournament for Eastern Sun Mod
What I would like to see them implement something that they had planned for D2 but never finished it was the Tinkered Items.
I think some of the recipes should be hard to find or that you need a certain recipe scroll to make the craft work. Perhaps have that as a sub quest or one of the random quests you can take.
I would also like to see enhancement recipes added that add or increase an enchantment but add a price of increased level requirement. -

Feb 17, 2010Hans posted a message on The Female Manbeast [Barb]Some female body builders are built like that.Posted in: News
Remember the Barbs are built to survive in harsh regions of Sanctuary. I think the Female Barbs would have to be strong in order to give birth to the strong Barbarians.
I am glad they went with that style of look instead of a more glamorized look or in layman's terms skins and bones with huge knockers. -

I think those were mentioned about a week or 2 ago. -
Feb 16, 2010Hans posted a message on The Female Manbeast [Barb]I think she looks sexy. I am afraid saying otherwise or she will beat me up :rolleyes:Posted in: News
The looks can still change. They may decide to tweak it later on. They may still want to limit some of the processes for the time being.
Besides we are likely not going to see them up close since most of the time well will be zoomed out in the regular game view. -

I have only played for a few hours RoS since at the moment I do not have the passion to play the game. I did play quite some bit patch 2.0 in PTR and when it was live.
I will be playing RoS again at some point when I have the passion to do so.

Maybe we need a forum moderated by Dr. Phil or someone like that where these threads go to and get answered by him and his group of caring people.
To the OP. Here's a lollipop and everything will be ok. It is just the big bad evil RNG. This lollipop will make that big old meany RNG go away.

But if he was playing vanilla than he is way of target, unless he was duping or bought the items from a third party site.
Only place you had a decent shot at getting a legendary was Boss Runs and for the most part it was only 2 of them since those were the easy ones to run. Chances to get one of the high end uniques was slim to none.

I have only played the Crusader for a few hours but then I have only played RoS for a few hours since I am burnt out on DIII again. I can only play DIII for short bursts of time which is strange since I could play the previous 2 games for years on end.
my suggestion is to try both characters and go from there. While playing you will learn which character is more suited for you and you will learn about which skills you like. Just pick skills you like using and then play what ever difficulty you feel comfortable using for that build.

If you notice the servers are not that stable or laggy. That should be enough for you to decide it is not the time to play HC and play some SC if you need to have a Diablo fix.

I guess HC is not for you if you can not handle the loss of a HC Character.

It does not really matter which one drops, they both make me happy

But still you need to have a solid life pool since sometimes you might encounter one of the elite super packs that are close to another super elite pack which complements and works well with that pack and wind up taking tonnes of damage that mitigation helps to soak up the damage but your healing is not able to keep up or you get hit with a massive blow that your small life pool can not take.
Some classes do have healing based on max life so having high life makes the healing more effective but still you will want high damage mitigation and some of that is not shown on the Toughness rating.
I would like to watch but like I stated I have to be careful of what I use myinterneton since 10 gigs is not that much and watching videos eat up a lot of bandwidth.
I do agree that most often All resist and Armor is likely better than life for the Paragon points but there are exceptions based on what your character hasavailablefor gear and the build.

Itemization is about having different types of options for gear especially in a loot finding game.
