Jul 25, 2010Hans posted a message on Focus on Customizable ArmorsI do hope that I can turn off the added visuals of flame or other mods since that would annoy me after awhile. I would rather just have dyes that you can apply to make all your gear match together in color so the gear does not look out of place.Posted in: News

Jul 22, 2010Hans posted a message on Focus on Customizable ArmorsI hope they get rid of the tiered system of items and have just one quality. The stats can very based on item level or character level.Posted in: News
I hope there are dyes you can find or buy that will allow to change the color of the armor or weapon. I have a feeling if that is implemented then I think Blizzard may charge a micro-transaction for it since it is minor issue.
I have a feeling that uniques and if sets are in the game that they will have a unique look or add something that is unique to that items look. -
Jul 14, 2010Hans posted a message on Drop Games are Dumb, and Other Bashiok ThoughtsI can live without the shared stash if they add some storage containers that ES added so Mac players can store gems and other goodies.Posted in: News
I would like them add the stats interface that PlugY uses. -
Jul 14, 2010Hans posted a message on Drop Games are Dumb, and Other Bashiok ThoughtsYou may want to add that Eastern Sun uses PlugY for the shared stash as well as some other features that PlugY has.Posted in: News

Mar 4, 2010Hans posted a message on Diablo III, Featuring BoENothing is confirmed yet since that would be a feature of the new battlenet. It is likely going to have ladders or maybe even tournaments.Posted in: News

Check the last blue post referenced, with that we can definitely, and safely assume that Barbarians won't be using wands.
I know what you mean, I'm really feeling that weapons won't just be weapons anymore, but more like extensions of the character. Weapons were quite generic and interchangeable in Diablo II, but now I've got a feeling that even though we will be getting variety, said variety will be highly specialized in the bonuses they add.
He did not say that the Barbarian will not but it is likely that wands are wizard only.
I think the WD should be allowed to use wands or a special type of wand for them. Maybe a Voodoo Doll -
Mar 3, 2010Hans posted a message on Weapons, Pick Your PoisonI think we will see more of a class distinction on weapons. They may decide to have some swords that are designed for the Wizard instead of the Barbarian. Just like the Orbs were Sorceress only.Posted in: News
I do not see Barbarians to be able to wield wands. They would likely break it in two when they wield it. -

Mar 2, 2010Hans posted a message on Diablo III, Featuring BoEI think they are combating the hacks by not including any means for network but through Battlenet. That makes it tougher for the makers of the hacks to gather information on the code.Posted in: News

Mar 2, 2010Hans posted a message on Diablo III, Featuring BoEBOP is only for quest items. I do not know if they plan on having a unique item as a quest reward like they did in some quests in D1. If that is implemented than it is likely BOP.Posted in: News

Power Supply could be an issue if it is either overworked or is starting to go bad. 600w is about the low end if using premium video cards.
If doing any overclocking than I would disable that and see how it performs.

If overclocking disable that to see if the system is more stable.
You can also try running windows in a clean boot state.

Also isn't the whole point of Ladders/Seasons is to start from scratch.
0
They could release the patch without Seasons but then the players that like Seasons/Ladder will think that it might be the same problem as with the PvP it was promised a long time ago and still no real PvP for them.

There were also a lot of theory crafting in D2 as well and hence the cookie cutter builds.

You might be able to get more out of them by trying to talk with them and seeing if they might need any help or suggestions on making their characters better. Of course it depends on that player willing to listen which the chances might be low. But then again who knows without trying.

I can possibly understand Hardcore but then again I do not like playing with other people when playing Hardcore

Some people like me would likely delete all their characters and start fresh with each season since I personally do not care about having the best items or losing them. For me the most fun I have with games are in the beginning. I just wish there was no shared stash, no shared artisans, no shared gold, no shared paragons.
