posted a message on Realistic loot drops
Doesn't seem like there's much point to it. It's just a gimmick. That's fine for TitanQuest, but this isn't TitanQuest. What would be the point to it? More effort on the art-team's part when they could just as easily stick to the old-school "Plate armor explodes out of crows" design philosophy, thereby keeping one of the things Diablo is classically known for while also retaining the artistic vision they already have for enemies without slapping random junk onto their lovingly-crafted demonic entities.

If we're talking "add +5% for shield-drops on a shield-carrying enemy", why? Just as easy to do whatever they already do with loot-drop chances and probability. Once again, it's just a gimmick, and one that wouldn't have much point, nor would many people notice it - except maybe people who wanted to exploit it somehow, which makes the idea even less attractive.

posted a message on Soul-Bound items. Good God No Please NO
It's not quite that doom and gloom. Soulbound gear sounds like it'll just be the extreme high-end of loot. Maybe it'll just be reasonably high-end, no idea. Either way, everything a hair below that will be traded around like the super min-max stuff is now, and the soulbinding loot will be there for people who want to spend the time and effort to make their characters better than the other guy, as opposed to just hitting the corner market for a [Insert Super Item Here]. Sure, the PvP community will decide you suck if you don't have whatever super-rare completely perfect drop, but that's more a problem of the PvP community, honestly.

posted a message on Real Female Monk Revealed!?
I actually quite like the look, if it's not a hoax. She's got a nice, stern face, and the hair - in my opinion - is quite fetching. I hope they keep it, though it'll be a year or longer before the game comes out, so there will likely be some changes made either way.

posted a message on 5th Class Known Information
The idea that there is an entire section of basic weaponry laying about with no one to claim it indeed points towards some kind of ranged, (mostly) physical-damage dealing character as the fifth, probably an archer. However, beyond that, we really don't have enough to go on to do anything other than flail randomly in the dark about it.

posted a message on Wizard's form of energy (idea)
Just from the name it sounds like it will ramp up as you do your thing, and do something to buff your damage output as it gets higher, possibly with a downside to gathering too much of it.

Off the top of my head I can think of some quick and dirty buffs it may apply, such as higher critical chance, higher raw % damage, or begins ignoring more and more resistances; debuffs could be damage dealt to the Wizard (DoT or Proc-chance), lower Defense / Resists, or maybe something else.
