Lol I remember watching my Dad playing and completing that game. I played it last year and finished it as a warrior, and I think that for all the background information the game has you should play it. Though you probably already know the story line of the original game (and if you don't you should at least read that. Theres still nothing like playing and living it yourself, trust me, you will have a better understanding of the events before D2 (and Wirt, knowing just how much of a penny-scamming-bastard he was is important), and the game is still fun.

Also, as I played D1 before D2, when I walked into Tristram I immediately went around and tried to figure out what charred burnt out wreckages equalled the buildings I remember, like Ogdens tavern.

    Welcome to the forums.

Stop using white font. >.> It's annoying. (No offense)

Do I have to? I like my white font, it makes it easier (for me) to read and makes the words stand off the page a bit more , if it annoys more than one person I'll stop though.

Yes well ScyberDragon I do intend to post quite a bit :D

@Nektu, if I'd stayed up half an hour later I would've actually seen you post. Hope you enjoyed your coffee.

    Thanks guys for welcoming me!

Definitely the Zergling. Quite a few memories of that little unit pawning all the way up to and including in end-game.

Lol this topic goes on for a long time. :P

I'm mostly playing Counter Strike:Source and getting involved in communities online such as this one.

Oh my, dude my sig looks pretty cool O.o.

Exactly the kind of thing I was looking for, but in my head my name was a little smaller and centred more exactly. If you feel you up to it I would you to centre the name and get rid of the curve. Other than that that's a really good sig. Especially considering my description was a little hazy lol. Thankyou

Just a really nice read. I don't remember quite a lot of those patches and I was too young to ever play Diablo 1 online (I finished it in single), but I understand it must've been pretty cool.

Blizzard has a history of making incredibly popular and long-lived games, and this article is a testimony to that.

Gentleman, a toast, 'To the future, may their games be kick-ass!'

Hey there man, I know I'm pretty new to this forum and so asking you to put the work into a making a sig for me may seem a little presumptuous but...

Basically I'd like a water background. with lots of white space. but with curling water running up/down one side, I'm thinking left. And then my name in whatever font you choose (artistic interpretation) in either a red or orangey colour. And possibly a rectangular strip of water flowing up/down the other side.

Should be mostly white space, my name in the middle and water spiralling into droplets on one side and a strip of flowing water on the other. Thats it in a sentence
    :P

Hi, my name is Matt, I'm a 15 year old Caucasian male living in Sydney Australia.

First off, just like to say, your reputation system is inherently flawed, in that "460 [Name] has ascended to a god-like status." is just incredibly less bad-ass then "-460 [Name] has become the Lord of Hatred."

I played the original Diablo and Diablo 2:LoD, creating a Zerker Barb which I got to lvl 89 before eventually quitting in hell after I couldn't kill fallen. As well as playing Warcraft 3:TFT (I missed out on 2) and Starcraft:BW

I am eagerly anticipating the release of all of Blizzards upcoming games except for Cataclysm, as it's damn annoying to have to go through the endless reinventing of a game that imho should've stopped at the Burning Crusade... which was AWESOME (never played Vanilla, never really enjoyed WotLK).

I play the drums and consider the 20 odd hours I invest in them every week as not living a sedentary life-style, whatever my parents believe to the contrary. In order to play the drums better I keep a practise pad next to my computer at all times for when I'm bored, loading screens come up or I die.

I hope Diablo 3 is gonna be awesome and if it's not, then I think we should have the right to sue Blizzard for fucking around with the general public.

My computer is complete and utter crap, but I'm going to upgrade from my Intel integrated chip to a real graphics card (and a better computer overall) soon and then we'll see what I've been missing out on in gaming for the past 4 years.

I don't regularly do "Hello everyone" posts on forums coz it always labels me as "That new guy who's 'Hello' forum topic I read, I remember him". And of course it makes it look very stupid if I then go and reply to other's 'hello' topics when I just made one myself.

I'm a computer enthusiast who likes looking at the hottest technology on the market and understanding what makes it so great. I also like watching ever better graphics cards still failing to run Crysis with high AA and AF. I'm going to build my own computer soon (they're so cheap!), a unique experience that I'm looking forward to.

    I like forums. I like wiki's. ... I'm sure we'll all get on famously!
    :)
