Utilizing wiki's or threads on builds I don't find as cheating but as wonderful helping guides. Totally different from using a third party software. Now that's cheating.Quote from bleakparta
True. When I played Diablo II and Torchlight, I did my best to not visit the wikis dedicated to those games. Even that felt like cheating. But I still had to do it. For the recipes...
May 13, 2011Seeing that the Followers system is only for SP to give you that multiplayer "feel", I may just stick to the multiplayer and forget the Followers altogether. I mean, what's the point? The plus is that they stay a level behind you in exp if they are in town, they are healed when you pick up health globes. But If you want that multiplayer feel, just play multiplayer.Posted in: News & Announcements
May 4, 2011Before this becomes anything more than it already has, I'm going to close this thread. Since the OP had nothing to do with the thread topic and then switch to the direction it did.Posted in: Off-Topic
If you want to discuss the existence of God, start a new thread about it.

Yeah, we have a Europe Division. Plan to keep it when D3 comes out as well. And if D3 is location specific like Sc2 is, we'll work around it and figure something out. And you and any and all Europe players are welcome to join BoD at the time of D3's release. :thumbsup:Quote from Jamoose
It would be great if this site had a European division, i once made a thread discussing this:European Division
Im pretty damn sure that D3 will be like Sc2 where b.net is split into realms and you can only play in the one of the copy you bought.
Anyway, i think these forums have enough European members to form a solid guild. I would be happy if i could join Bod around the time of D3's release.

Why not? I think that the hostility based PvP was fine.Quote from FingolfinGR
i hope it wont be hostility based, like in the previous games, though.

Thread to be closed shortly.
Only because it makes no sense to complain about something we have no control over. We are all in the same boat.

The servers are not done updating yet, so it sees your game version as being different from the server version and thinks there is an update.

I think if a guild name bothers you that much, you perhaps wouldn't fit in with the rest of us.
However I hope you find what you are looking for.
Well according to how you portrayed this guild i could say that it sounds like the right thing to me but i just cant get over the name.
Besides, saying that i perhaps wont fit in with the rest of you because the name bothers me that much is a bit harsh in my opinion. I mean dont you have different opinions sometimes? Do you have a rule that states that all members must like the guild name? Or a rule that says that if you are not mature enough to ignore the name of the guild, you are out? How can you criticise levels of maturity when your guild is called Orgy? Rethorical questions that i needed to put out there.
My point: calling your guild an orgy is lame in my opinion. This is not a guild name that lasts.
Feb 2, 2012its only "bad lag" is due to about 100k new people playing and very few servers. It runs fine every other day. One key point of you even getting in now, was for them to see how the game plays when a server is filled way to much. You can expect more servers / less lag in the days to comePosted in: Diablo III General Discussion
as for what you said about talent system, I really like this pic
Dec 20, 2011To everyone attempting to claim that there was no victor in the logo competition or that they deserve some sort of prize or compensation because no logo was chosen to represent DiabloFans.com, I say:Posted in: Off-Topic
What the hell, man? Why you trying to steal my thunder?
The staff of DiabloFans clearly picked their favourite to represent the site and it currently adorns the top header of the page - just as it has for years.
In other words, the winner is me and I'd appreciate if everyone else stopped trying to downplay that and complain that no winner was chosen.
Oct 30, 2011Kickin_It posted a message on WD class mandatory skills for inferno - unlike the rest?Posted in: Witch Doctor: The Mbwiru EikuraQuote from d3maniac2012
ah but its not pure speculation. its backed up with facts about the skills and how they work. much less speculation then "zombie wall makes you LEET".
The entire premise of this thread is pure speculation. There's no way to know that pet skills will be mandatory for Inferno without having played in Inferno without them and miserably failed.
Also, I never argued that "zombie wall makes you LEET." I simply pointed out that it's a CC spell that you didn't include in your list of "Skills for surviving" in the OP. Are you really arguing that Wall of Zombies wouldn't help you survive?
The only video we've seen (that I know of) featuring Wall of Zombies is the original announcement trailer, and there's nothing there that would lead me to believe that enemies can walk through it.

Here's my entry. Got some work to do on the font still.
I feel like these are the most effective (in order from top to bottom).
If I have time I will work on one of my own.

Chat channels are in, and working. They're more like the Diablo II IRC style than the individual chat windows like StarCraft II has.
Having ways for friends and acquaintances to create social groups has been in the long term plans of the new Battle.net for some time. Whether they're called clans or not is a smaller detail. It's just getting the time to work on adding in those types of want-to-have features. Almost assuredly not for the launch of the game, but hopefully at some point in the future.
