I'll probably buy Diablo III eventually, but I dunno how many people still remember the old games. From what I've seen, not that many.

Although people have forgotten the old game (some people) a lot of people who play wow will hear of it also so that will bring like another million people into D3.

posted a message on Rumored Release date?
Some people in the forums say 2011 is the definite release date, Well not just a few but a lot. Although many people argue this i know even more who have said it will come out in the third quarter of 2010. Estimated production times are usually way longer then realistic times so fans don't get mad if it happens to take longer. My guess is blizzard already has the 5th class near to done they just want to make us wait on it and other things like this. Its been almost 3 years do you really think that blizzard intends to keep us waiting 4 years from their announcement of Diablo assuming most things went according to plan. I think that once blizzard tells us the final class and releases the long awaited features they will soon after release the game in all the excitement. Although i also wonder if blizzard is planning to wait till another blizzcon passes. Lets here what you think which side do u believe is more likely.

Hmm im confused as to what blizz will do alot of you say that tetris is confirmed but the gameplay video shows things having their own slot (either its not tetris or they are just small items).

As for tyrael it would be prety epic if we got to fight him and yeah i have heard many times he will be the last boss. Although still not sure on that one.

posted a message on Its going to be a Ranger of sorts, and heres why...
Very good logic i would have to agree the fact that a bow dropped in one of the game play videos is key evidence. I wonder if blizzard will have the old school pet type things like in Diablo II where u hire a guard to follow you around or if they will have some sort of class specific pet involved with the last class.

    Quote from "Coolestfriend" »
I've seen a few people joke about a ninja class, but I think it's possible.

I don't think I have to go into the specs of each other character, if you need them, they're on about every other thread in this part. But the thing that's fundamentally missing is a range-focused character. Regardless of the fact that most of the characters can hold their own in close or ranged combat, we don't have one that exceeds in long-rnage physical combat.

That being said, I think a ninja-type character is valid. Let's look at a breakdown:
-It can be range focused - bows (yes, ninjas use bows too), shorukens, throwing knives, etc.
-It can also be proficient in close combat with swords (katanas and the like)
-Magic skills can resemble the assassin's from Diablo II with shadow disciplines and marital arts
-Ninjas could also borrow from the druid's shape-shifting skills
-Fills the "Paladin Gap" with a sword user, the "Range Gap" with bow/throwing weapons (I realize the Barbarian can use swords, but that's a different case. Dual-Wielding swords or axes is not terribly close to one/two-handed sword usage.

I'm not trying to say blizzard has to borrow from Diablo II's skill sets, but if we're looking at any type of unique character that still pays homage to the past, a ninja is a nice addition. Plus, we might get another character with a teleport-type skill, which I think would be nice. It kinda gives balance against the Wizard.

Seriously? Do you really think blizzard is going to be this original? Knowing blizzard they would never make a ninja but something similar such as a rogue, or assassin, you could also argue thief but i doubt that one also.

posted a message on Discussion: The last class is NOT a ranged class
To everyone saying its going to be a druid i strongly disagree first of all i doubt they will introduce healing into diablo. secondly the witchdoctor and sorceress already has similar moves to what a druid might have such as locus swarm and other magical spells. If you argue that there will be a feral type druid i think everyone will agree that a rogue is far more possible then this (i'm not saying that a rogue will be the 5th class just pointing out that blizzard would make a rogue rather then a feral type druid).
