Looking to join a group that farms bounties daily. I wouldn't mind farming for two hours a day. Or even more really (in that stage where I need more mats than gear). Hit me up here or in-game. I'm on from 5pm EST - midnight.
The question is: how are you "powerleveling" your friend? Usually powerleveling means that one player stays at the entrance of the rift to make sure that he isn't dying and the other player just clears everything. XP is granted for everyone on the same level - so when you go to level 2, level 3 and so on just make sure to wait and let your friend teleport to you.
Usually you should go on a level on which you can comfortably kill everything without dying. "Expert" is probably the worst difficulty as it's only a small increase in XP over "hard", but quite a monster damage/HP increase (see difficulty overview). You'll also have trouble as you get to 64, 65 and the mobs will hit harder; on 69 you will definitely feel that you need to be on hard.
Just to make sure - you're opening the game, right? The game level is that of the one who opened, so you should always be the leader, not your friend, until you're both 70. To get a bit more temporary power you could try crafting a level 70 weapon with "level requirement reduced", which will give you an insane damage boost for the next few levels.
Good luck! In case you want to be at 70 super quick you can also just ask people for power leveling (there are communities called "boost" or something like that), though I think since it's your first time you should probably do it yourself as too much boosting usually takes a lot away from the gaming experience.
Yes, my friend would stay at the entrance and I would tell him to TP to me when I went up a zone level. This isn't my first character. I played last season and got a Monk to Paragon level 70. And yes, I am the party leader. But think you for reminding me about the level 70 reduced weapon. Before my weapon now, I had a level 50 weapon I was able to knockdown from level 60!
Going from Hard-Expert only grants a ~30% increase in xp gained, but a 60% increase in mob health gain (45% increase in mob damage gain). It is NEVER worth it to go to Expert. You go from Hard->Master (~120% increase in xp, ~130% increase in health/damage)
Also, for best lvling, craft both a set of Cain's/Borns lvling gear, get a helmet with a socket, and put a ruby in it. All 3 of those combined will more or less double your lvling speed.
Last night I bumped the difficulty from "Hard" to "Expert" to expedite power leveling my friend (got him to level 46 in three hours time just by rifting). My question is, should I stay on Expert? I can clear rifts with ease, and can get them done pretty quickly depending on mob density. Or would it be better to bump down to Hard, and blow through everything relatively easy? Keep in mind, my friend will be playing with me.
First off, sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong area.
My issue is I don't know if its lag, or an FPS issue when I run into massive mob groups (the game likes to stutter so I'm assuming FPS issue). I have a AMD FX-8350 (8-core, 4.1ghz) processor, GTX 970 graphics card, and 8gb of DDR4 ram. What can I do other than lowering video settings? Thanks!
