I seriously don't get why some people here keep bringing up how a BoE system will "mess up" the trading/bartering system. NO IT WON'T! Now, a BoP system, yes it will. BoP I'm totally against; BoE DEFINITELY agree with. You can STILL trade BoE items. I don't think some people understand that. Some people here just don't think about how this game will do in the long run.

Just think if there wasn't any sort of item regulating system in D3. Uniques and Rares will ALWAYS be coming INTO the economy, but they will NEVER, I repeat NEVER, EXIT OUT! What do you think will happen next? A F'ed up economy where there will be CONSTANT changing prices and even some items that will get to the point of becoming COMPLETELY worthless. Think people, think.

I would definitely like BoE implemented, but definitely not BoP. I'm 100% sure that this game will become one of the most popular online games ever played, and with that said, if there isn't some kind of item regulating system like BoE, then we would slowly but surely see a massive decrease in the each item's worth. It'll get to the point where some "rares" or "uniques" will simply be discarded or given away if it is deemed "too easy to get" due to the plethora of it on the market.

BoE, would pretty much solve this issue. All items, no matter if they are found in the beginning or at the end of the game, will still be worth something throughout the game's lifespan. People will value their items even more, and carefully think about how they will use them. Will they keep it for later use for other characters? Will they use it now? Or should they trade it to get that item that better suits you.

Maybe they'll even come out with some kind of system where if you equip an item, it becomes bound to your ENTIRE account, meaning all the characters you create in that account, thereby alleviating that situation where you don't know which one of your characters should use it.

A problem i can see occuring wit BoE as of now, the item grid system is 1 item per slot wether it being armor or a weapon. If I find a sexy axe for my barb im not even gonna be able to see how it looks on my character without it becoming bound to me.

And just to answer this, they can always implement a "preview" option to items that you want to try on before purchasing. I remember this feature in the LotR MMORPG and it worked perfectly.
