Posts like this make me want to cry.

he's right if you want to play a game like diablo but with guns, play torchlight. but seriously folks a pirate would be pretty bad ass to fight with and not all pirates carried guns, its a stereotype.

What will the clan system be like in diablo 3, is there a clan system or will it be like the previous diablos?

If not they should have a clan system so you can give ranks and help friends.

So I poked around a little and didn't really see an answer, so what I'd like to know is if each piece of armor will be rendered on your character, unlike in Diablo 2 where your armor gave you one of three appearances, sometimes a different color. If I change from one pair of shoulders to another, I want to see the difference.

agreed they need to have different images on the character for each slot of armor. so you can see his boots armor gloves helmet and belt.

no goofiness indeed, the pirate needs to be able to dual wield a crossbow and a sword at the same time, i have some creative ideas that maybe the pirate has some sort of magical blunder buster or crossbow that shoots rocks really really... really fast or magical arrows that he catches on fire by blowing alcohol on them, lighting the arrow or rock, then shooting it. the pirate would have to have some skills like sword master that allows the character to dodge, and deal two hits instead of one. Ranged mastery allowing the pirate to put multiple rocks or arrows into his weapon.

Also the pirate could be either male or female, uses a wide variety of wepons, is fantasy like, is badass, and could interest some people to play the game and be the 5th character because it is a pirate.

In all fairness the last character should be a pirate who cast out along with his crew in search of booty, but a treacherous and gruesome beast shattered the boat, ate his crew leaving this last pirate washed up on the shore alone in the land of Diablo.

The monk should have finger attacks where he dosn't move just stands in a stance and points causing a burst of wind to ignite from his finger.

    To OP:
Could you give us the standards for what is badass in your eyes? How would you have made him more badass? With hair on his head?

I must admit though- you gave me a good laugh with that post. :P
    (no sarcasm meant!)

Well first off why two dots on his head... one would do, i believe it is suppose to represent your third eye not 3rd and 4th. The Monk also looks a little shriveled, he needs to be bulkier, more muscles, because if anyone should be ripped, its the monk. And last but not least his beard looks red.... why a red beard? they should make it a different color like black brown Grey or white.

posted a message on Armor should be able to deteriorate if durability goes down
durability would not be a problem for trading because supposedly the money system will be more efficient with the items. so repairing items will be another thing you can use your money on. It was also in all the other Diablos so why would they leave durability out? Durability is just another detail in the game that should not be left out.

posted a message on what armor sets would you want created
I want an armor set that is made out of living tree parts, like the leafs for the helmets, bark for the armor branches for the gloves and roots for the feet, so when you combine them all you transform into a badass tree being that has all sorts of bonuses.

Some sort of Angels set that gave the character wings and bonus attributes to skills, the set would be armor, gloves, and a belt.

And also an evil set of angels like fallen angels set, a black sparrow looking wings that add to skills and stats as well, but being boots ,a helmet and a amulet.

If you combine the sets you get an epic bonus and really turn inoto somthing amazing

I would want set of the sensai where it is cloth armor for the monk that looks like an old school kungfu outfit, adding major damage to hand to hand combat and combos.

I want to see that the game is almost impossible to beat even for normal. That to me brings enjoyment to the game. Most players do not like that style of game.

I agree with what your saying because after awhile in diablo 2 the bosses become so easy to beat. it just became so repetitively boring without a challenge. With a hard bosses, competition, and trading, this game will surpass the others. yet i feel like this game needs durability and a room cap that will fit all 5 classes because durability adds realness to the game and allowing 5 in a room will not only allow every class to play but more trading oprions to happen.

Back on Topic, I still feel like after a Gnarle battle i want my character to look mangled and battered as if he were truly in battle. It wouldn't be to hard to do. Cut it up into 3 section of durability, for example you lose 25% it looks bad 50% worse, 75% mangled.
