Blizzard did do something on 9/9/09, about 11:30 pm Blizzard's time a mass ban started for diablo2. I am amazed that I haven't seen much about it yet. But I know it was a mass ban. I saw many people reporting account closes related to a commonly used bot on a couple of Diablo 2 communities.
It is astonishing that some of you could not imagine a rogue male. There is absolutely nothing holding Blizzard back in creating a male rouge. Now it might not be the exact same rogue as we have seen in D1. The term rogue encapsulates a variety of possible kits. Now on the other hand a male Amazon is absurd, since the Amazon tribe consists solely of women. And to sugest that a Druid would be a marksman is really far stretched.
When people can't imagine a male rouge, they are not referring to the d1 character. I think they are usually referring to the act 1 npcs from d2. The act 1 rouges were all female, and if I recall correctly made up the sisterhood of the sightless eye.
The combat at the beginning was really easy (don't think I was ever hit) and then later you just swing from gargoyle to gargoyle and kill people.
I also didn't like the look of the game, overuse of normal mapping made things a little too shiny for me, and the brightly light air ducts were odd. "We can't get out," Look at vent with light shining through it, open it, "oh look Batman found a way out, he is sooo awesome!"
I think I am mostly irritated because game informer gave this game a 9.5/10 and dissidia final fantasy something like a 6.5/10.
