There are several potential issues...

1.) you have dust in your chasis... dust acts as an insulator and increases heat
2.) You overclocked your GPU which by default will overheat
3.) Your cooling system sucks
4.) Your NVIDIA settings aren't set to use application settings
5.) You already overheated your GPU causing system damage....

Your formula to calculate your chance to crit per second is:
(((0.05)+(X)+(0.03*Y))*Z)

X = Additional crit chance from other skills and items
Y = Seconds since last crit
Z = Weapon attack speed.

Example:
* No Additional Crit Chance
* 1.6 Attacks per Second
* 6 Seconds since last crit

(0.05+0+0.03*6)*1.6
23*1.6

You have a 36.8% chance to crit within that 6th second.

If you want to find your probably of criting by the 6th second you need to compound it which makes the math more annoying

Why does everyone forget about the random nature of Diablo?

If you do not get the drops... you do not have the gear... you do not progress.

I understand they made crafting to help supplement drops, but you will still need the materials to craft.

I think it will be a while before people have the gear to run Hell, let alone Inferno.

Also everything we are asking for we had in Diablo 2, not WoW. Just proves how ignorant you kids are. Funny too, this is a great example of why hostile button and PK were perfect for Diablo, it was a great way to shut little kids like you guys up. When you are all safe and protected by daddy Blizzard you guys get big mouths, as soon as that goes away you guys curl up in a ball and piss yourselves.

I think you nailed pretty much everything we really want Omega. If we want ranks and ladders we will make them ourselves like in Diablo 2.

SEVERAL Polls have proved that an obvious majority of players prefer PvE over PvP in Diablo.

Diablo is a cooperative RPG that is supposed to be fun COOPERATIVELY. For example, my wife (non-gamer) played the beta... loved it... and will now be playing Diablo 3 with me COOPERATIVELY. My wife, my coworkers, and the majority of my friends that will end up playing diablo 3 will NEVER play PvP unless its in casual fun against each other.

This is not an esport... should never be an esport... and should never even be considered as a potential esport.

In fact... i think overpowered crowd control spells in CASUAL pvp is more fun than everything having the exact same effect in the end.

@VladDracul - You and jake (and now AntiRepublican) are the whiniest ragers on this freaking forum. If the word PvP ever comes up I am certain to see one... and or both of you on here talking about how you guys are the gods of diablo 2 pvp (e-peen flaunting) and about how important pvp was.

Diablo 2 was NOT a PvP game... it was a PvE with PvP thrown in. PvP was NOT major... it was an occasional when really bored thing... and it was horrible. Matches were always won by the person with the better gear... not by skill... and to even come in entry level you had to be "rich".

Diablo 3 would have been the same thing if they didn't promise to matchmake based on a combination of skill and gear...

Can dodges proc Revenge? I realize that the tooltip says "each time you are hit," but I thought the possibility might exist since it has been confirmed that blocks will proc Revenge.

All of you arguing about relative PvM vs PvP player numbers: Blizzard *knows* the numbers. They own the service, and can look at logs for any time period they want for how many dueled, how many ran X boss, etc.

If PvP (real PvP, not griefers forcing it on people who didn't want PvP) was as important to D2 as some of you think, Blizzard would have come up with a different plan than they have. Your importance to D3 is not nearly as high as you seem to think, with the plan Blizzard is using now.

Having said that, I'm fine with them adding the arenas for you, but I'm not in favor of hostility in the open world.. You can have a hostile area to play in, and I'm sure the PvP patch will have that.

Going back to D2's forced hostility model would mean the end of D3, imo.

I actually do understand what you mean about the barb feeling good. It is more a class issue that it is a gameplay or numbers issue. The Barb and DH have a very satisfying sound effect every time they hit something. Almost like feedback from a controller. I felt this too but I didn't get this from the monk.

The wizard is slightly different, melee attacks and spells act differently. Casting Magic Missile does not provide as satisfying a feedback compared to Bard/DH. But when you find the wizard spells that work for you, you'll be happy. I easy got over this feeling when I found a good DPS weapon and when I started getting runes for my Magic Missile. The Split rune makes MM feel very good. Also the more spells you unlock for the wizard, the better. You feel very very satisfied with how Electrocute works.
