While I understand right now the benefit is too great for the Demon Hunter, I hope that it is still a viable build after they make the changes.

I would enjoy something like this and hope it is implemented, The problem I see is it could go against the reasoning they gave for putting such a high restriction on the extra tab space so it would have to still be tied into our stashes and I could see conflicts arising from that. I do hope I am wrong for this is needed more then ever now with Set Dungeons.

I wish they demonstrated the mathematics for how they generate set bonus damage for the 6-piece items, for it would be interesting to know the reasoning behind some of those bonuses as well.
I do agree that 800% was really high, but it would have been nice to see the bonus changed to something like +200% per ancient legendary up to +1000% for right now with the way I play I probably will never have enough ancient items to make use of this set.

Interesting changes to Marauders, but DPS wise I normally didn't have too much of a problem with the set if I was in an open location. My problem was normally in tight dungeon style areas where my sentries became unable to hit enemies. Now I don't compete at the higher levels of Grifts so I could be not encounters what others were.
I will give it a try on the PTR and see what it is like.

The biggest problem I have with Marauder's is how unfriendly it is to mobility, so for the biggest improvement I think they need to revamp sentries again.
They said in the past that they are going back to rework Shadow's Mantle to be a melee based set for Demon Hunters.

I stopped playing hardcore when I realized that the game netcode was the thing causing me the most deaths so I was playing it safe so I would have some kind of buffer for when my connection would bog down. So I just decided to have fun playing in SC was the better option for then I could challenge myself and not worry about some random death that wasn't my fault.

I am probably going to go Necro again just because I am still a little burnt out on the other classes and hopefully get my final Conqueror stash tab. I might go for a MS DH again later into the season if I still have interest.

Its far from that easy to stop a botnet attack, the biggest botnet ddos attack that I recall was about 100,000 internet devices attacking the DNS hosting servers for a day. Most of the IP addresses that would be logged would also be from innocent people that have been infected with a virus on their computers or internet connected device and have become a drone for a botnet controller.

They only released two sets of wings with patch 2.4.1 the Falcon Wings from the Mysterious Chest in Act 4 and the Cosmic Wings from Whimsydale, but only from the portal from a Rainbow Goblin and not the version that opens with the staff.

2) I have played in each season to get the bonuses they have offered.
3) Generally to play with my friends that are playing in the season.
4) Generally its a combination of my first three answers. I will play either seasonal or non-season depending on where my friends are playing, but in the upcoming season I will be picking a class for seasonal to try and get to the stash tab the quickest. Before Season 5 my class pick was based on what I felt would be interesting, but right now I want to make sure I get that stash tab.

If players really wanted to do that all they have to do is make the choices to play that way. Don't like legendary or set items, just disenchant them. Don't like the idea for rifts don't play adventure mode. Don't like paragon levels don't spend the points.
The other thing you don't have the option already is the cubed items and I could understand a request to disable those bonuses even if it was just an "ignore" button beneath each of the three bonuses.

There seems to be a bunch of problems with the PTR at the moment, I am not sure about your exact problem but I have read and encountered different ones myself.

If they went back to grinding for gear I think the difference between the people who have bots and don't would be even bigger so I don't understand a request like this. If the game was based purely on attributes it would be one thing, but the game is based on the bonuses from legendaries so if you take those away there will be an even bigger rift between those that can play a lot and those that can't. Nothing will take away the grind feeling of a game that you have been playing for years, it is bound to happen.

I would stop playing the game, I have seen what hacked items are like on the console and remember those days from Diablo 1 and for me that just isn't fun.

My suggestion would be to format your computer and start with a fresh install of Windows and if it happens again look at hardware replacements. I find that if it is hardware it becomes more obvious when it fails such as your BIOS not recognizing your HDD at all. Right now Intel is starting to roll out a new generation of processors so there might be deals coming in the future with the release of new hardware.

What I have gathered recently is no matter what Blizzard will do or not do with the game someone is going to be criticizing it. Recently I saw a bunch of posts along the lines of "Diablo 3 is too much like Diablo 2" and then I come to threads like this one and its "Diablo 3 is not enough like DIablo 2".

I didn't have much fun those days, maybe the topic should be "Bring me back what I consider the old good days"?.

I doubt they would go for an Amazon class since they are now talking about making a set for the Demon Hunter that revolves around melee. If anything instead of new classes they are going to add new sets that incorporate concepts of the other classes such as having the Witch Doctor have a set that they would shift based on the pet they summon.
Things always change, but if I remember the blue posts from the time of Reaper of Souls one of the big reasons for the Crusader was they wanted a second strength base class so there were two for each primary attribute. Just like they didn't add a new companion since they had one for each primary attribute.
I really don't see them going back to too many of the concepts from Diablo 2 because I could see it becoming too much of a copying from the past instead of trying new things or at least if they do return they won't be the same as before. Such as if charms return, it would be more of a new item slot instead of something to clog your inventory with.

I personally have bee running Greater Rifts for mine. Normally I will get 3-4 legendary items on a 41+ run and use the blood shards to buy an armour item (25 blood shards) and normally get at least one more that way.
