I personally wouldn't care if everyone knew what my title means I have done its not like I need constant recognition for everything I have done. It's not like its exactly going to be hard look up how someone got a title either. It will be listed on the achievement or you could do a quick Google search. It is not a big deal unless your lazy.
Maybe the point of a title doesn't have to be strictly bragging rights, it can be funny, cool sounding or whatever. I do not really get the whole argument that a title should only mean this person is uber or has completed such and such difficulty level and any title that does not fall in line with that is stupid and pointless. This line of thinking seems to me to fall into the 'only the uber leet players should have such and such and fuck everyone else' line of thinking and thats bullshit as far as I am concerned.

I agree it would be cool to have. But it would just end up a bunch of qq all over diablo forums of people saying how much they hate the god of war series, and how blizzard is ruining the game by making it too much like god of war. Then they will say that they would never buy diablo 3 now, but then they continue to post on the diablo 3 forums anyway just to make everyone miserable like themselves.
Yeah, but if he doesn't answer stuff he cant always give an answer to (which is a lot of the stuff he comments on) then the fan boys would always be in an uproar that the Blizz developers ignore them, wouldn't they? It is a double edged sword, and quite frankly I would rather him still talk to us even if he cannot reveal all the details, instead of ignoring us because they know some idiots on a forum are going to misconstrue what he said.

I haven't been scared by fictional stuff since I was little. I remember my dad letting me watch Pet Cemetery when I was 5 >.> I had to jump into my bed from 5 feet away from a year after that worrying about that little bastard being under my bed with a knife. So I wouldn't consider any of Diablo frightening, of course I was 15 when it came out so I suppose it should be expected. Stuff like the movie Jesus Camp scares me, lol.
I do echo what others are saying about loving the atmosphere in Tristram back in the day and the Butcher. I really don't feel like Diablo 2 ever even got close to touching Diablo 1 in the atmosphere department. I have much higher hopes for Diablo 3 in this area, it looks like it has already surpassed Diablo 2 and have only seen one fifth of the zones! IMHO of course.
The atmosphere I am looking forward to most with this game is the first Halloween I get to spend sitting at my computer with the cool breeze blowing through the window, a twelve pack of dark beer in the fridge, and going back and forth between handing out candy and killing monsters in Tristram cathedral.
I would defiantly be disappointed if there was no satanic imagery in the game. It defiantly felt like they took the wuss rout in 2 with the half assed evilness of it all. I mean I don't expect them to go all the way and have shit like a evil pope with christs bloody skull hanging off of his belt which he jams on the end of his dong and fires it at you like a missile (little boys head might be funnier). But at least give me something a little blasphemous! Gore is a given and I never would have worried about that. But I'll be damned if I don't want some upside down crosses and preachers hanging from the church rafters. I wish they would bring in some metal bands to help with this stuff, I want stuff like bloodbaths mock the cross t shirt design!
The thing that worries me most is that Blizzard is in much more of a industry leader out in front of everybody kind of position than with D1 or D2. That makes me worried that they feel even more pressure to tone down the blasphemy. I feel like were just going to get a few half assed pentagrams.
