Ive been out of d3 for a while and was going to start up in season 14. Are there no class changes for the upcoming season or am i missing the patch notes somewhere?
I dont think wiz will be the 3 man meta. my bets are still on barb/monk/ wd. as far as viable though, (talking leader boards) something like monk/WD + wiz or DH would all bet able to ladder. with DH being easier because of their survivability over wiz. I wouldnt be surprised to see a hand full of random builds on the ladder, including hammerdin
hydra will pull ahead of monk and dh after GR 115 for single target. it doesnt matter if wiz dies during the clear. wiz is there for one reason rift guardian damg (like the old gen monk)
Nothing really to talk about, jst because its monk monk barb on PTR means nothing,. ppl play those because they are hyped. Of there is a godlike density rift, archon can overpower monk, or just think about DH spam multishot into a cluster of mobs procing area dmg... (even though same applies to monk as well) Im like 100% that PTR does not reflect the reality. If it does, S4 is faked.
does a lot normally change in the week or so before s4 is live? ive just come back after 2 years so i dont know too much about how ptr translates to love
Decided to come back to diablo after not playing since launch. I'm a competitive player, so when i play games i always want to push endgame, or im not having fun. Biggest background is from WoW. Ive played in a few top 100 pve guilds and as high as top 30. My current level para lvl is 364, highest grift 50 so far.
I want to stress that im looking for a clan that will be pushing progression, im not tied down to any class, i would be fine playing any class that is needed to go as far as possible. I am someone who always looks at ways to min max, so im always on forums / checking out streams to try to take my understanding to the next level. At the moment im bouncing between chars just making sure I have a good understanding to fill whatever roll i need to. And will be hopping on ptr as soon as its up to get a jump on min maxing for the new season.

Innas is fine. probably the second best after traditional genk monk

probably not super high. the hammerdin will have a hard time surviving w.out a support. monk / hamer would be better.
thats not to say it cant break into the leader boards. most comps can with enough time / gear / rng

gear changes slightly depending on what you have / GR lvls.
check season 9 leaderboards for 2's. the build will be the same this season

The top 2 build comps will be far ahead of any other are
zdps monk + firebats WD
zdps monk + hydra wiz
after that, its pretty much up in the air
maybe a DH + Wiz bc they are both decent at surviving without a support

Its will prob be
zbarb, zmonk, fb wd, hydra wiz
COE hydra wiz does more rift guardian damg tham pretty much any other class right now.
DH and Gen Monk will be viable for that single damg slot unless youre pushing the very top of the ladder
