We can blame WoW for the 2011 release of diablo, they should rename WoW to "CASH COW" People probably wouldnt even notice. Mmmm...whats their subscriber base 1mil+?? at whatever it is a month?? 10$ = CASH COW. love how their is a huge developing team and how they push an expansion every other year. From a business perspective i completely agree with this model, but as a gamer it really freakin blows hard, mainly because im not a WoW fan.

i remember blizzard pushing back release dates soo many times with the past titles. Which is actually a good thing for the game, & crappy for all of us. d3 however wont require near as much balancing as sc2 will. so i wouldnt be surprised if thats the stage that sc2 is on now. im not a programmer, but i'd imagine that that implementing the artwork would be the most time consuming.
On another Note: Anyone remember d2 beta?? only playable char was the barb, could only go to the blood moor & Raven. how exciting do you think d3 beta will be?
