the day they ban thud will be the day i stop playing diablo3. it makes the game so much more fun and adds a lot of things that blizzard should have included to begin with. botting on the other hand is rather harmful, but thud adds very little that will make you progress so much further as everyone is crying about.

No the current concept of zdps is going to be dead and thankfully buried. On top of the +dmg that zsaders zmonks and zwd bring, the biggest aspect of them in high end gr was to stun, fear, and blind all enemies permanently so that the two DD only had to focus gear stats to damage. That is the meta of zdps, and it will completely change. Support based playstyle will still exist, they haven't hinted at or begun nerfing of that on ptr. With the upto 95% cc prevention mobs get in 2.3 you won't be able to lock down even trash mobs for the extended period you can now.
Pulling, buffing will still totally exist. I also have a feeling that the current changes to DD specs may cause the ideal group to be 4 full DD who each in one way or another offer support (dels wiz or non dart pet Dr as examples). Already on ptr we have seen unoptimized NEW builds that are easily able to crush 55+ . On top of that we have changes to mobs dmg and health.
As you said I do feel that if a zdps of sorts is to be viable on live, an ep monk is most likely. Something along the lines of quins t10 goku monk.

greater rifts still need their damage scaled down radically before this can go live with the CC changes that have been implemented, i am full ancient geared on my wiz with extremely well rolled items in all slots, and i was struggling in a 54 grift (4 player) with the damage they were doing without any real forms of CC, nevermind melee characters who can't take more than a couple of hits at that level from more than a couple of monsters at a time, still a crap ton of changes need to be made before Grifts are even remotely viable, because with T7-10 being added, there is almost no need outside of levelling gems to run Grifts anymore, so without some alterations, they will completely invalidate the biggest feature they added back in 2.1 within 2 patch cycles.

As people are finding that it is easier to push grifts either in groups or solo, communities that advocate their achievements is what matters, yet players find it bad that they are limited to five communities instead of more.
Communities give players a support system to help find groups easier whether it's pushing grifts, finding key wardens or doing bounties, speed rifts, giving advice for rolls etc. Communities are also like a second family, you can play with specific or different players with the same caliber as you if a clan isn't active or does not want to do certain things. When we have a problem where we are restricted to five communities, it is associated with less support systems that players need.
An example, if I want to join a community such as farm keywardens for ubers when my community list is full, I would have to leave one of my communities that I find important such as bounties. Result of this causes less productivity because you have to choose which is important: either bounties for rift keys or farming keys for amulets.
Many casual or elite players want more support systems that is based on their needs rather than being restricted to a limited amount. By allowing us to join more communities, this give players more opportunities to find players to do more activities based on what they want to do.

Complain is a way to put it, feed back is the other way.
We, as consumers, know what Blizzard is capable of and expect something great out of them, just like WoW players are bunch of whiners, I myelf is one of them. And when something great is not happening we just complain, or "feedback" in generous term.
One thing that kills the game is not complains from players, rather opposite, lack or complains. When developers dont see complains, they cant fix the issues, there lays lots of problems but no one to fix, the game loses players, and it dies out.
And im pretty sure Blizzard understands this, and they are more than willing to put out more response toward those complains. In my personal experience blizzard is the most responsive company out there toward their consumers' complaints.
i dont think i put those in complete sense, but
tl;dr: we complain because we care, blizzard gets those complains from us then fix issues: its good thing.

this thread went downhill quickly....If your only in the top 10 because you cheated/let a bot play for you, you dont deserve to be there. period. And I really hope blizzard takes this game seriously next season...
The last 2 days Ive had emperian directly comment in live stream. "bots are not bannable" and admits that SoS and ZE use all the exploits in the game...Is this really something to celebrate on the main page of this site, or something to admire?

ehh its not hard to make it in 65+ range leader boards. as I said you need a monk a crus and wd and dh..and the standard wiz/dh/suport or etc....trials and spam they keys...as watching on stream tonight gabby hit 65 with 15 seconds left.(was booing him the whole time since he is a big time cheater)...however those who do these...do not want pubs to know how to do it...so they keep theyre groups close knit and hate on anyone who questions them and how they did it...im not sure if they do run 100 bountys then 100 trials...but im sure i have 100 50-55-65 keys wasting away in stash..also ze invited a newb dh to their clan for sole purpose of making fun of him, i have better gear but im sure the na. dont invite ppl just to troll. yet when the legit players troll the gg they act like we suck for having a life.

meh..ive trial'd 67 keys, ive done 63 in time, and can speed run around 45-60...which has been done without any exploits..maybe I did not shard for a good krider in first week but when i do get one i know my dh can do 65 much like my wd and crus is also capable of. Ive never ran heads up display yet when or if i make it top 100 I will know I did so without exploiting it. I dont play 10 hours a day either but when I finally get that rank 65-70 clear it will mean something to me in which the few gg friends I do know DO NOT RUN EXPLOITS!

From what i could see on ptr streamers, dagger of darts will probably be the most competitive build. But I agree classes should have different options for endgame.

i was just hoping an upgrade servers would prevent this...id rather roll my crap drops into passives to test then wait..theres no testing if theres a wait time..

it seems like most are actually happy the d3 devs have stepped it up a big notch, though some people will always complain...While there's always room for improvement in the game, this is a step in the right direction for sure.

maybe more tavern talks or community events
a gift for other items
being able to cube an item into ancient maybe
i cant think of much more, but lastly EXPANSION....cause we know we will all buy it and it will provide revenue for shareholders and provide us with content..

I agree...But I guess like brandy said well have to wait for ptr....Im guessing alot of people are going to stop pushing for at least a few days....or just check on youtube...

I would love this idea im just extremely sketchy about it...They took out mortics brace and now theres idea about 3! dps or support class passives...Dagger of darts, tals and kriders would be pushing WAY higher then they do now. which is really the only builds pushing right now. I mean Ive done 57 in 3 player with a dod/wd/crus...fairly easy...ill deff ptr this and recently ive ditched ptr completely...
