    2C "Scott Tennorman must die" is the name of the episode... but if you want to know what did happen to him...
    What really does happen to him is that he must eat his parents in a chili-con-carnival

    Sorry for making a mistake on math question 1... Though I am a little annoyed that a half-complete answer to number 5 was accepted...

    Pretty sure this should be in the "Other Games" Sub-forum but oh well.

    I know this sounds silly, but three things you probably want to check are:

    1. Does your character have any medicine?

    2. Is your armor broken (identified by the red and black health squares instead of just dark ones)?

    3. Do you actually need to heal?

    If you actually do need to heal damage to your health (and not to your armor, see the blacksmith for that), you can also open the radial weapons menu and select Medicine from there.

    Hope This Helps

    Oh and don't forget that if you are positive that you are doing everything right, your controller/console might not be working right, but I'm not about to try to troubleshoot that ;).

    I was thinking more of it falls because it's pretty dense... And the position that wins is often the "lead" position.

    Not really sure what the father of lead would be, unless it was mercury?

    HAHAHA

    Lead

    In my previous post, I originally wrote "Gold or Lead" but eliminated Lead because gold was denser...

    So I guess I'll answer all the questions...

    1. 5(n+7) - 10 = 110
    5(n + 7) = 100
    n + 7 = 20
    n = 13

    2. [2(67 - (-41)) + 6] / 11 = n
    [2(108) + 6]/11 = n
    (216 + 6)/11 = n
    222/11 = n

    3. (983 - n + 432) / 5 = 283
    1415 - n = 1415
    n = 0

    4. ((2 + 9 - 4) X (1 X 4 - 6) + 2 - ( -6 X 9 - 30 ) + 112) / 4 + n = 1111
    (7*(-2) + 2 - (-54 - 30) + 112)/4 + n = 1111
    (-14 + 2 + 84 +112)/4 + n = 1111
    184/4 + n = 1111
    n = 1065

    5. (2401(4sqR.))^2 + n = 50
    (2401)^(1/2) = 50 - n
    2401 = (50 - n)^(2)
    2401 = 2500 - 100n + n^2
    n^2 - 100n + 99 = 0
    (n - 99)(n - 1) = 0
    n = 99 or 1

    <<Note: (xsqR.) = x root of, just (sqR.) meaning square root.
    ^x = to the power of x.>>

    6-10: Solve or Simplify

    6. (3x - 3)(3x + 3)
    9x^2 - 9 = 9(x-1)(x+1) = 9(x^2 - 1)

    7. (702 - 67) X 2 / 0
    Undefined (divide by zero...)

    8. (0(900 - 50 / 5 + (625(sqR.) X 2)) + 17
    0 + 17 = 17

    9. (99999 - 1) / 2
    99998/2 = 49999

    10. 2xy + 10y - 4xy
    10y - 2xy = 2y(5 - x)

    I haven't checked all of their answers, but while working through the problems myself, I found that for number 5, n could be 99 as well as 1. Do you need me to go over all of the other answers since they already submitted solutions which are at least correct for the first four questions?

    I'll do my best to solve #5 right here for you:

    (2401(4sqR.))^2 + n = 50
    (2401)^(1/2) = 50 - n
    2401 = (50 - n)^(2)
    2401 = 2500 - 100n + n^2
    n^2 - 100n + 99 = 0
    (n - 99)(n - 1) = 0
    n = 99 or 1

    Have a nice evening. I may edit this later as I work through the rest of the problems to check their solutions!

    1C: Could it have been because it was really easy to pirate all of the games, or did that not contribute? Could it have also been from competition from other new consoles (PS2?)? I realize that I phrased my answers as questions... Sorry.

    I kinda thought the answer to 1B should be the Dark Ages... so I'm going to answer 1C with that in mind:

    The Middle Ages were also called the Dark Ages because they were an unenlightened time during which the arts and philosophy were pretty dead (or at least not rapidly progressing). The Church had a nice stranglehold on artistic and expression and thought in general. Also, notable were the fact that the Middle or Dark ages came between the periods of great thinking civilizations. By that I mean that the middle ages came after the classic era of the greek and roman empires yet the middle ages came before the Italian Renaissance.

    Is that kinda what you wanted?
