Quote fromNOOOOOOOOOOOOO plz dont tell blizz is gonna fix this
Wha? I don't understand what you saying...
Quote from "PhrozenDragon" »Urgh, access violation. I don't know about Warcraft, but in Diablo, that can mean anything amongst thousand of potential errors.
You're much better off posting this on the Battle.net forums or on a Warcraft-related site I believe.
Try a reinstall though. Only time I ever get that in Diablo is if I mod it and forget some parameters in some file somewhere.
Quote from "Comedian" »It would look like this (sort of):
half shaved head!
Quote from "Murderface" »Trang'Oul is God. He has been around since the beginning of time and is composed of every moment in the past and all the possibilities of the future. Thats the closest thing to a god that I can imagine.
Quote from "DesmondTiny" »DUDE THAT WOULD BE WICKED SICK!!!i!! All the colors of the rianbow spew out at your enmys and when they die from the move flowers grow out of the gounr and bunnys start nesting where hte monster died. That would be AWESOMESZZZZzzz my kinda d3 ROFL
Quote from "LinkX" »From my understanding Battle.net is Battle.net is Battle.net. Its the same thing from when we went from Starcraft and Diablo2's to Warcraft 3's. You can still communicate and still interact, but the new game will simply have more options for themselves.
So really, this is kinda like...Battle.net 4.0? Diablo 1, then SC/D2, then WC3, then SC2/D3? Yea, I'd venture to say this is the fourth major update of the Battle.net systems/servers. Of course, that part is only my personal oppinion. The first paragraph is true.
And everyone remember, you can still get on Diablo 1 and talk to people on Warcraft 3, so the likely hood of splitting this fourth version from the others is highly unlikely.
Quote from "OathofChaos" »To be honest, I think it is well worth pondering about the mindset of the Prime Evils. I really think that the destruction of the Worldstone was the plan from the beginning, hell, everything was planned... the exile from the Burning Hells, the capture by and the corruption of the Soulstones. When reading any of the books, all of the demons' plans took a long time to plan, and usually even longer to execute... and we're not just talking about mid-level demons here. Diablo, who is the most "exalted" of the three Prime Evils, and a brilliant mastermind; Mephisto, whose cunning and trickery is matched by no other; and Baal, who has a flair for havoc and destruction. It even shows in game, albeit more simple than I'm describing it. Mephisto, who has you running through endless caverns and dead ends; Baal who has you fight his minions gladiator style; and Diablo, who makes you "decypher" and open locks that summon him.
These aren't just little carvers we're dealing with. So, if the destruction of the World Stone was the penultimate goal... that leads to the question of why? I don't know. I think we're looking at it wrong. I don't think the World Stone was the goal. I'll be reading and playing more to see if I can't see some sort of link.
Quote from "izanami" »We are talking primary colors here. For example, a pearl - colored car isn't white for you? A white color with purple/blue/pink GLOW is an arcane spell. Fire is not red, its primarily yellow. And holy is white, with a yellow glow, and it's very different from white with purple glow.
At the end, arcane can be ANY color. The thing about arcane is, its highly concentrated energy beam. It can be any color, it will still be white because of the "high energy".

Quote from "lurked" »Rakanishu!
There isn't really any reason, except that the name sounds like pure awesomeness.
Quote from "Ivaron" »Sure, it's not a flame or anything, but it does heat up the target. Heat = fire in my mind. Not to mention, I typically associate fire with energy anyway, like..:
Fire =/= energy
Air =/= gas
Water =/= liquids
Earth =/= solids
So if there's a red energy beam that heats up enemies... it seems to me it does fire damage. But I do think the red color looks cooler than purple would look for that beam come to think of it.
And arcane magic is purple because the spell Baal casts at the opening of LoD is purple-colored, and I think that's supposed to be arcane magic he's using there.
Quote from "Morden79" »Tell me Izanami, what exactly makes you think arcane isn't purple? What would you base your arguement off of to say that Arcane is not and cannot be purple? A real life example? The fact is, we don't have real visual magic, let alone arcane magic, in this world to base that off of. Its a fantasy world. Arcane could be any color of the rainbow for all we know, its not our world. Even if DnD said arcane magic should be effin yellow for all I care, Blizzard could make arcane any color they like. Since they already have arcane magic in previous games, and its typically purple, one could assume they would keep that idea in mind when making arcane magic in this game.
I personally understand that they changed the color to broaden the color spectrum in the different trees, but personally this red color doesn't make sense to me. Red is the color of fire. People see red and they associate it with fire. To me, if anything, highly focused arcane magic would probably look pure white. Thats just my opinion, however it could then also be confused with Holy magic. I did however see a really nice photoshop someone did of a pure white with purple outline that made it look really sweet and put no doubt in my mind that that was pure arcane energy.
