posted a message on Mask of Jeram - item level 31? Please confirm!

I pushed a barb up first this season, and now want to level my WD (favorite class). I'm trying to get the mask of jeram for Kanai's cube as efficiently as possible, so I got my WD up to lvl 31 and have been gambling at kadala. Battle.net says that the MoJ is lvl 31 so it should be in the pool, but I have sunk 10000 blood shards and no luck. Just want to make sure I am gambling at the right level.

Is MoJ still a lvl 31 item or has it changed somewhere and I didn't catch it?

    Thanks!

How is it ruining it for anyone though? I really don't get the butthurt over what others do with the game. Play how you want to play. I don't own a console, but if I did, this wouldn't bother me at ALL. So what if others want to cut to the endgame without the joy of finding new items. They miss out on the journey, and that is what they do with the game that they paid money for.

Yes I did need to see it in writing. Because if blizzard doesnt say it's an issue then it isn't and a ban would be unjustified. I stand corrected but I still think it's stupid that blizzard tells us how to use he product we purchased. I almost exclusively play single player so I don't care what anyone else does and if I played with someone who used this exploit I would just enjoy stomping some beastly GRifts or something with them. I don't care.

I see nothing in that code of conduct saying you can't abuse exploits that are written into the code of the game. there is no provision for banning those who use them. Calling for bans on players who use this exploit is stupid and unjustified. I don't care what others do with their game. I will play mine. What's the big deal?

You have to be kidding. How is someone else ruining your game? If there is an exploit then it absolutely is a developer problem. As long as the exploit is there then it's up to you to use it or not. You can't ban someone for doing something that is 100% within the released software. Anyone who thinks otherwise is deluded. Boohoo someone has better gear and levels than me, and somehow that makes my game suck...stupid perspective. Just play the game.

When you equip it you replace the Ring of Royal Grandeur? You will lose out on your set bonuses which it doesn't account for in the comparison. Will be totally different stat numbers when you have the weapon and off have slots filled as well.

posted a message on I made about 100 000 euro from Diablo 3 in exactly 1 year. Here is how.
I think they did exactly what they needed to with bots. They made it so it doesn't negatively affect those who don't. In the auction houses the botters really screwed with the market so that the normal players got marginalized quickly. That and it ended up costing blizzard money. Now with bind on account...if you want to bot it will only deny you the self satisfaction of having found that great gear, and you may get labeled. I say let them bot by themselvea in the corner. They aren't hurting anyone but themselves.

posted a message on my T5 + WW guide
I've almost got enough to get this build going. I can do T3 no problem and can survive higher it's just slower than I want. Need an SoJ to cap it off. If you had your choice what 2 items would you use out of Fulminator, Thunderfury, Odyn Son, and Shard of Hate? I have read a very small amount about how the different procs scale damage differently and some like Thunderfury have an internal cooldown. I have a really well rolled Fulminator but don't know if it outweighs the possibly better procs of the other items And that is why my build just isn't quite there.

I don't have any trouble with resources though and that is without Hexing pants, I use Cains set bonus for extra attack speed too.

posted a message on Achievements: why bother?
I don't see any additional content to unlock in diablo. It's not that kind of game. You put in time to get a better character. Achievements can aid in that endeavor. Since when did what has been done in previous games had to be a limitation on current or future games anyway. I don't care about the historical utilization of achievements. I get some people are completionists and just enjoy that kind of thing, but I think that an achievement that took so much effort or skill should also give you even something small like +5 vitality. I highly doubt I am the only one who has ever though of this. Oh yeah, and might I add *ta da* here is more end game content to add some fun goal oriented play time and variety of play and incentive to do things you might not normally do.

posted a message on Achievements: why bother?
this could very well be a stupid post, but I did do a cursory search and didnt see an obvious answer or related thread.

What is the point of doing achievements? Do you get anything other than bragging rights (which by the way I have never seen anyone point out their awesome board of achievements)? I think it would be better to get exp, gold, even stat increases (finish this achievement get +1% gold find, this one get +1 all resist, etc), or maybe even a mid-tier legendary of your choice (from a given selection?) with some chosen stats. Some of the achievements are fun, and some are a legit challenge, some just take time, and some are guaranteed. I think it would be fun to attach some kind of reward.

    any thoughts?

Have they increased the number of characters you can have in your account. I'm already at 12 characters. It would be nice not to have to delete one to make room for seasonal characters.

What is proof of not botting though? I have heard of people sharing accounts with a group in order to play 24/7 and get up to crazy paragon levels. Also, with no auction house and no seasons, I may be in the minority, but I see no harm in botting. If someone wants to cut part of the fun out of their own gaming experience by denying themselves the satisfaction of leveling on their own, or the joy of finding that awesome item after so much grinding...well that is their deal. It doesn't hurt me.

posted a message on Bashiok on "Skill Trees" in Diablo 3.
The problem is no matter what they do everybody will find the skills they think are best and create a formula that promotes the most efficient use of those skills. This means no matter what they do there will be FAQs with people recommending the best optimized builds for many cookie cutter types of characters.
You can only direct different ways this must be worked around. You can keep this one skill huge tree idea (which I think is really cool by the way) and at least make it so the builds are flexible, therefore increasing the number of cookie cutters, and everybody has fun picking their favs. You can create synergies to make people want to stay within different styles. More points per sub-tree means a higher effeciency for all skills in that sub-tree. You can also make it so more skills points allocated to different styles means higher possible point allocation for those "sub-trees"? I.E. if you add a total of 20+ points to Berserker, all the skills under this sub tree get a higher skill level cap. make a combination of the two or something. This gets confusing and adds a lot of balancing issues, though.
I think complaining about cookie cutters is redundant, and erroneous, because we will always ask, "how did you set your character up?"
