Anyone with a great referance pic on Diablo? I can't find any good ones on the net. The Diablo 2 version would be cool.

Otherwise I will draw it from scratch.

Excellent, more and more Swedes are arriving. Soon we will be able to overthrow the Oceanic Enclave :P

    Welcome.

We have watched the Diablo 3 news for many years without any inteference. People all over the world do enough good job to form D3 to their liking and Blizzards takes priorities so D3 will Rock And Roll. And all the questions is probably answered by now.

    IDEA...
I should really do an Diablo as an future Airbrush installment.

Okey So I have sum the Questions up for Bashiok!

Q1. Is it 1 language-setting or more? In D1 we had Swedish for example, but not in D2.

Q2. Is the Diablo Soundtrack availible within the game, maybe in the meny?

Q3. Will the weather be of any effect to you? Example, snow will slow you down a bit, lightning will hurt, fire from the lightning and swamps with acid from an acid rain?

Q4. Will there be any flying enemy that can't be attacked by ground, like say electric floor/earth?

Q5. Will enemies try to be selfaware of their energy and try to escape with attitude and elegance?
(See below for more info and ideas what I mean!)

    Thanks..

    [From other thread]

Charging attack is one major change into D3, if they charge diffrently, maybe the attacks and the "escapes" are very diffrent. Some enemies could just take alot of punishment, others teleports, some choose to run, others are just stupid, like zombies.. And maybe a flying monster could fly away and others can change like:

    - Get a stone/force/cold/fire/crystalgem/metallic/claw shield for a period of time just to recharge OR just to play hard-to-get. And IF it recharge, you can kill it by going BEHIND it! If its in full health, it just keep on attacking you without a shield.

    - Get transparant so every hit get threw until the enemy is "gone", (seen in D2).
    - Laying a trap and runs away, like a tricky goblin or something.
    - Monster digg it self below ground, attacks like a driller.
    - Monster multiplies until the original get slayen.

    - When dead, the enviroment shakes (D2?) and make every trap in the room to active.
    - When dead, the body shoots out homing projectiles.
    - When dead, it resurrect into a skeleton, an odd skeleton.

    - Monster change color of choise, meaning its immune/resistant/blocking something.
    - Monster manage to escape by making playing character a bit slow/confused for 2 seconds.

    - Hordes of monsters comes if you kill something very innocent, newborn insect or something, showing vengence.
    - Big monsters can take little ones and throw at the playing character, making hit-damage.
    - Monster that lays eggs that explode when playing character is close, just so it can escape.

    - Jumping of clifs, (suicide is better then being slayed by You! Muhaha)
    - Suicide bombers, (seen in D2).
    - Having spinning blades, weapons around it like an "aura".

    - Rises wall from earth/floor, just to make it harder to get around, (sinks back after 20 sec?!)
    - Explodes while dying, (seen in D2).
    - Suchs out the soul/energy of other monsters to gain more power, if it's surrounded.

    and..

    - If it manage to run away, you can't get to it - a special monster = alot of EXP.

Some aspects in the game that 1-2 monsters that doesnt appear OFTEN have the ability to get away fast if you don't attack them immediatly, getting an better experience boost.

A thing that should exist is enemies that call for help, either by shouting or summoning ;)

Yeah, I think they already have that, Im not sure, seeing a goat-shaman or whatever lure you into a camp and them having alot of goats after you is in one of the videos showing off the D3. But sure, its a cool feature, hope to see alot of those in the game!

Anyone remember the monsters in cave area of D1 whose blood was acid? Is there any knowlage if the monster leave beind, acid, leaves with poison thorns, fire, freezing liquid etc. when they are dead? Hmm..

Yes, thats the kind of thing i would like to see, really.
The Advocates from D1 that teleport around like crazy but are easily beated by stone curse are very cool. A monster that uses wizard's mirror image, so you must use a multiple target skill to identify the real one by some visual effect...

Really, thats the kind of stuff that D1 have and i really miss in D2 =/

Yeah, good ones. It would make more of an strategi instead of just go around killing, and a bigger Nerd-alert to show off how easily you can kill when you know the tricks.

I think the monsters need to be easy killed by all characters, not only those with stonemagic. But as you said, D1 hade som very original stuff that didnt make it to D2. Maybe lack of programmingtime from Blizzard North?!
