With them bringing in (more and more?) new Wings with every subsequent patch, there's a chance we see these in the NA region too. We will only be able to tell in the future, but one can hope, right?

Could be too as well, I guess. The cross on the shield made me think otherwise but you could be right too.

@Thilicen @Zumwanna you guys can use Dreamscene to make that, and then rip the video without the sound someone posted these instructions on Reddit:
- For people asking how to use this as a background for your desktop:
- Download this video (ripped video, no audio, and converted to WMV): https://mega.nz/#!XFJkWRDD!DkXPTZrBShkHytx4t83_Xkmke_C7Ltwx_E57KKH_YtU
- Use Dreamscene/Deskscapes to use the video as a background.

It's what it says on the official blog post, so it should be. The short duration is probably because of the nature of this PTR - to specifically stress test the servers on certain conditions and with lots of players using certain specs.

Yeah they should transfer from what we've heard in the past from devs. Unless they change it when it rolls over, but I see no reason why they would.

@Aethyx I believe the codes can be redeemed anywhere, since the game license itself allows you to play globally. It won't transfer progress, but it definitely lets you play anywhere you want.
But the best way to figure that out is contacting either Blizzard or Amazon support and asking them directly (I guess Blizzard preferably). They can give you a definitive answer.

@loczek1 I think he was first at the time of the clear, which is sort of an achievement in itself (being able to get there at least once). But yeah, holding a ranking throughout the season is not going to be easy I'm not sure what are his current goals, but I think if he wanted to hold those spots he might have been able to.

@Detruncate that is my fault, they should have all been properly linked. My bad the original images are considerably larger than the ones we have in the post, so definitely check out the full version.

It's not that Crusaders don't have speed-farm builds, it's just that there were a couple of reasons to set aside 1-2 classes (in this case Crusaders and DH's). One of them is the post was getting too cluttered with that many builds. And the other one was because their speed-farm builds is related to old sets/playstyles, and I couldn't find anything different, unique to feature for them tbh. Just some insight behind the post format and content choice.
But definitely check our Builds section for Crusader speed-farm builds (<- just click the link) they do exist and are great at it!

That's curious and funny.. the feedback we often got in the past is that the video shown is not of a "high quality" player (either if a casual build or of non high rank G/Rift clears). It honestly took quite a while for people to even accept MHM's videos, which are perceived as less "hardcore", and since there's this general sense of elitism that makes everyone think content/info is trash unless it's "absolutely top tier".
Now I'm really interested to know - could you elaborate on your comment? Exactly what "less well known players" would you like to see featured more often? Twitch streamers? Youtube content producers? Random gameplay or specific guides? Could you let us know (maybe even link) who and what you would like to see featured more?

There's usually insight from the author about skill, item and rune choices, as well as specific gameplay tips that may be better conveyed by live gameplay instead of words. Insight which (in some videos) is meant for less experienced players, but depending on the author and goal of the video, can be also targeted at more experienced players - to help them understand calculations and in-depth mechanics.
Also some of the top players really prefer spreading their ideas and thoughts through recorded footage (rather than writing what can sometimes be a huge essay :P). That's why video guides are more popular than written ones from them - and their credibility plays a big role in the specs' viability.
However I do understand the simplicity of just skimming over a build and being able to immediately understand what it's about, and quickly switch gears. I'll see what can be done about that in future news posts. Thanks for the feedback - I really appreciate it!

Fixed your link for you. The previous URL contained "www" when it isn't needed. Seems like a legit website and initiative, but as with all things on the internet I'd advise users to download with caution, and at their own risk.

Safe answer: 3-4 months....
My bet: 5 months...
I believe it will take a while for them to make the next (potentially huge) content patch (2.3 with new class sets, systems, etc.) given how much it took them to make 2.2 come true (5+ months from Blizzcon?).

Introducing a sort of "trade-off" to the Paragon system sounds like a really neat concept. Interesting perspective.
Anything to spice up the Paragon system later on is a good suggestion imho =]

I'm actually a fan of this idea. Trading some massive stats boost from gems for Set bonuses (and adding another sort of "item hunt") seems like an interesting concept.
But I think in order for the bonuses to be actually balanced with the bonus from the items afterwards (Cindercoat, Hexing Pants, RoRG) it should require 7 "runewords" (or pieces) so that you have to use all your normal Gem slots (1 Helm, 3 Chest, 2 Pants, 1 Weapon) to get the set bonuses.

In the same manner that isn't cool for people to flame the OP for his achievement, it's not cool for people who support him to flame groups of people who want to express their lack of appreciation for this sort of run (and use of game mechanics) in a civil manner, by calling them whining haters and losers. Such posts will be dealt with as well.
I don't care what they are or on which side you're on, being civil is simply non negotiable.
Now for my "on topic" comment, congratz OP's teammate on your achievement. I'm always amazed to see such impressive game knowledge and dedication in these runs. Keep up the great work.

Good suggestion - we'll keep it in mind.
Thanks for taking the time to post it!

Previously in order to join the DiabloFans US Clan one would have to apply and wait for approval. That happened because of the amount of in-game requests that we were getting and the limited spots in the clan, and the burst of players coming back for Reaper of Souls.
With that said, we will be attempting a new approach from now on, with anyone being allowed into the clan! No post or forum account required to join. The only requirement is for you to be an active player, and make use of the clan functionalities every now and then (form parties, chat around, be nice and reasonable).
Hopefully we do get players of all kinds - seasonal, non seasonal, softcore, hardcore. It would be awesome if those new players would present themselves in this thread and leave some information about their play-style.
I will also try to update this thread (and post) with new information on the clan status (what is happening, why, etc). Let's see how that works!

It has been almost a year since Reaper of Souls launched, and since we did a clan reset. It has been an amazing journey, and I'd like to thank for everyone who took part in it with us.
That said, with the game approaching its next big content Patch (2.2) soon™, I believe we need a more active roster, and I'll work to get more people into the clan and make it an awesome social experience once again - with all kinds of players and groups available more often.
Quite a few players have been removed from the current roster (anyone inactive for more than 30 days). But if you want to come back, you're always welcome.
I will unstick this thread, and close it. The next "application" thread will not require any detailed applications, but rather be a place where people can leave their BTags and preferred play-style. And the catch will be that if the clan is full, inactive players (offline for more than x days) will be removed to make place for new members. Keep an eye out if you want to come back!

Guys, read the post there - it's not ending just yet. The title is misleading. That post is not for the 2-week notice before a season ending. It was just to let people know this is how it's gonna work.
While I can't say for sure that it's not going to end within 3 weeks for instance, I think it's fairly safe to assume it will likely take longer than that. And even then, I think a 2-3 month season duration is a decent choice. It means more content more often!
Either way, let's not spread around information that Season 2 ending next week!1ONE! It's not the case.

I've said this a couple dozen times before, so I'm just gonna leave it here.... you know, in case someone still doesn't get it.... maybe, just maybe we weren't supposed to be reaching GR XX in the first place.
The community is obviously breaking the limits imposed by the item numbers (sheer base dps and stats) every time, and more often than not they're doing it through what can be called cheesy mechanics - infinite resources, immunity, perma crowd control.
It's awesome seeing new builds break through previous records, and it has been shown time and time again that is possible (and not everything is figured out), and party compositions trying to push the limits too - but resorting to these mechanics to even compete is something people probably don't even want to.
To be honest, I think this is the biggest reason why, whenever they reduce the effectiveness of anything or implement new content, there's a huge spike in player power (and more power creep - a TRILLION damage! is the latest trend). Revamped Legendaries, then revamped Sets, then Legendary Gems, then Ancient items - just so that people don't rage about not being able to reach GR XX anymore, without realizing that numbers wise they were never even supposed to (old school Rimeheart...)
I welcome the change, but I'd also really like for them to take a step back and stop with the ridiculous number inflation. It's pointless and not gonna head us anywhere interesting. Take the WoW approach to this before we're doing a GAZILLION damage and our monitors can't even show the numbers.

make it +2 ... thanks for understanding it and giving us a sumarry, Demon! o/

Added everyone who requested after Jan/2015.
Didn't add people from before that because most streams that I checked were offline, not playing D3 anymore and/or didn't even have the game marked as their "current game" on Twitch (Hearthstone, H1Z1, Minecraft, CS:GO, HotS).
Streams who don't even show D3 anymore won't be added. Also cleared up the Stream section to remove non-D3 streams (which is kinda hard to do 100% right - so let me know through PM if your D3 related stream got removed).
Will add over time the (current) top D3 streamers on Twitch to our section as well. Hopefully these combined should greatly improve the user experience when checking out D3 streams.
