I know you didn't say 'you called them lazy!', but I want to make this clear: I do appreciate the work. I like the thought. I am not even the slightest bit mad they simply reused act1 FoM tiles. No.
I am disappointed by the sheer level of irrelevance this map has. There is literally no incentive to ever step twice into this portal. I did, and only so I could compare 2 different specs on my demon hunter because of the unique way the waves of cows spawn at the event.
Regarding rewards there are absolutely no cookies to be had. The whole map is purely an astehtic one time bummer.
That's why I would actually prefer a week of double xp to this. Not because a simple buff is more fun, but because I would actually be compelled to play for more than an hour.
If a buff (which is plain, stupid and boring) starts to feel better compared to a new, time-exclusive event map, than something is very wrong with the way blizzard designers are working.
TL;DR There should have been something else inside. Not just a bunch of those crappy chests that drop nothing because they share a loot table with elites/packs and some bovines that give mediocre xp. There would have been more and better possibilities to do cool stuff.
