I don't really categorize Diablo as either. In both Diablo 1 and 2 I usually just did Coop till I got bored. Then I PvP in that time. In Diablo 1 Pking people was pretty fun lol.
However, both the PvP and PvE in Diablo 3 are revamped big time. Complete system changes in both categories. I can actually see Diablo 3 being highly competitive and highly Coop based. I will probably play it mostly for the Coop though. As the gap it will fill for me is a fun Coop RPG.

Oct 1, 2011KonataX posted a message on DiabloCast: Episode XXVIIIDiablo 2 actually had less randomization than Diablo 1 did. The reason I enjoyed Diablo 1's time probably more than Diablo 2's time was because of this reason alone. The environments were more real as well. Giant Square areas with little randomization were a kind of turn off. The reason I believe Diablo 2 was an improvement over Diablo 1 was because of the skills system alone. Diablo 3 is actually bringing back what made Diablo 1 so great, with improved systems over Diablo 2. The randomization is perfect from what I saw from the beta.Posted in: News

Mar 8, 2011KonataX posted a message on Blizzard's "Anti-Modding" Stance: Another Looki believe the only way they can truly help mod makers, is by making some form of LANPosted in: News
that is also the only downside i see the most newer blizzard games
is the lack of LAN
not a whole lot of games do support mods at all
its just ppl find a way to make mods work
in a sense, mods are a form of hacking
so this has no bearing on mods other than no LAN support -

Oct 1, 2009KonataX posted a message on Diablo II Patch 1.13- More Delays, Hopefully a Brighter Futurelol they should just make the items slightly smaller insteadPosted in: News
like daggers and all 2 space items now take 1 space
all 3 space items now take 2
all 4 space now take 2
all 6 space now take 4 and so on =3
that way you dont gotta do anything too fancy except change the pics a little or completely change the pics lol -
Sep 29, 2009KonataX posted a message on Why Blizzard Could Soon Return to Game Consoles.i wouldnt mind one for the wiiPosted in: News
you could use motion sensor for the aiming of skills lol (little hand to tell where your aiming)
and the wii nunchuk and wiimote have a lot of buttons lol
plus they can make their own diablo 3 controller specifically made to play D3
=3
so i think wii would be best choice
plus the wii should be able to replicate the graphics
o and the ps3 cant do as much as a computer can due to its lack of ram lol
now if they made a ps4 and gave it higher tier equipment and made an OS for it that would be pretty sweet, but thatd prob cost like 1000 bucks so they are better off advertising it as a gaming pc xD -

i just want all the skills to be useful and immunities removed so any added onto that is pure awesomeness x3 -
Jun 3, 2009KonataX posted a message on Diablo 3 Difficulty Levelshell should be hard to completePosted in: News
but it should still be possible to complete by yourself
and yes there were enemies in hell diff that were immune to fire lightning and cold rendering a sorc totally useless
thats the kind of stuff thats bad
i think high resistances are nice but not total immunities
unless its gonna be more like d1 in terms of skills then its fine lol
the game should be balanced around a damage point so no build like the bowazon becomes totally useless =3
what d2 lacks is any kind of damage scale for the spells
like a 1 - 100 scale
i think a 1 - 200 damage scale through every difficulty is fine =3
if the numbers get too high then it becomes impossible to beat the game without the best equipment
which is what i liked about d1
you could beat the game without the best equipment on all 3 difficulties
and it had a damage scale from 1 - 100
thats what i hope D3 becomes =3 -
May 25, 2009KonataX posted a message on Diablo III Bestiary Update- Return of the Fallen!i wanna see azmodan and belial both in diablo 3 =3Posted in: News
i wouldnt be surprised if they were the final bosses lol
lol and diablo's power is to take anything you fear from the depth of your mind and make it reality
now just imagine belial doing something like that with lies XD
well belial cant be that weak since azmodan + belial > Mephisto,Baal, and Diablo
im thinking belial has powers to make other demons weaker than him obey to some extent
that would at least explain why andariel and duriel opposed the prime evils in the sin war but obviously fight for them in the diablo 2 game =3
they also turned most of hell against the prime evils so im thinking that is belials doing
while azmodan prob had more direct powers =3
thats just a theory so far xD of what i think whoooooooo xD -

they may have fixed the problem with fallen being kinda annoying to fight =3
before their were only like two species now like 4 yay ^.^
i got sick of hunting down little red midgets all the way across the lvl xD (with a barbarian or melee pally at least XD)
i think its cool that they used to serve azmodan =3
maybe they ll add some more of the two lesser evils they never included in the other 2 games whooo =3 -
May 19, 2009KonataX posted a message on Patch 1.13: Larger Inventory for Diablo IIlolPosted in: News
i think its funny how hellfire had a transfer system to fix the problem but they never considered it in diablo 2 xD
it wasnt all that grand but it was at least something lol -

If there are immunities though, it might be only 1 single immunity. Diablo 3's skill system is actually structured around the possibility of immunities. So even if possible immunities are in the game, they will not be anywhere near as powerful as they were in Diablo 2.

Then die anyway 20 seconds later. While Time could be stretched in WoW. It will not be so easily swayed in Diablo 3 because of its fast pace nature. You just won't survive until the next activation. Especially if its a 3 vs 3 and you get stunned in the middle of them immediately after being revived.
WoW has a slow paced nature for PvP, that to this day they are still trying to fix. Which is why strategies like that would work. Even if by some miracle this becomes the most powerful strategy in PvP. Blizzard could then just say, this passive is completely removed from PvP.

one of those 2 numbers
There is a passive that increases the number as well.
The generators are pretty good at generating spirit, but you wont be able to spam spells like decoy nonstop constantly xD
EDIT= Verified at 200/200 in the beginning of the gamme

Cool =3
I don't really like the current passives at all. They aren't rewarding at all for making your own builds with. Some of them are pretty powerful general passives though.
I think this skill calculator can hold me off till Diablo 3 is released =3. I don't actually want to play the beta that much mainly because I have to replay it anyway when I get the game. This calculator gives a general idea of what runes to aim for when the game comes out though =3.

Based on how the class actually works, you dont need more than 1 generator. But You could use a few based on situations. I'm just betting that I will be doing enough damage close range to be able to use any ability i want for the situation =3. I won't need another generator since i'll be using my 1 powered up generator the entire time.
My moves are a summon, a shield, semi teleport, thorns mantra, and 1 damage ability. Since I don't use a lot of spirit Except for really the teleport and my 1 attack. I should be fine.
The rune abilities are especially important for the build. The build would pretty much suck with the base abilities but the runes are what allows it to work. Since without the runes they are just a bunch of single target abilities.

Well I'm hoping the game wins awards as it definitely deserves to. But I just don't think its realistic to think it will happen soley because its my favorite game series =3. I'm also not really worried about it or anything xD. But most definitely if those biased players who play some of those shooters were to try Diablo 3 when it comes out. I know for a fact they will like it simply because it has enough action elements to the game for them to play it. If those players lose those biased outlooks on games, then maybe Diablo 3 could ROTFL stomp everyone and win a sales award. XD
I know it will probably win Game of the Year like every other game they ever released though.
