posted a message on Your Zombie Contingency Plan
    Situation:
I live in Ciudad Autonoma de Buenos Aires, Argentina. I would go to C?rdoba where my family have a land sorrounded by the mountains. It's really difficult to access walking, and the total of hours spent in the trip its about 14 hours.

    Items:
    ?Axe (double-edged)
    ?Rifle
    ?Bike
    ?Shovel
    ?Knife

    Team:
Best friend, his girlfriend and my girlfriend (assuming that my family is safe)

    STRATEGY:
Having knowledge of the terrain (land), I can provide myself of water (from the river) and food (hunting and fishing).
With the axe I would lumber (i think that was the verb) the trees, mantaining wood to keep me warm and manufacture certain weapons (spears) to hunt (and not waste the ammunition of the rifle) and make several traps. Also, the whirlwind capability!

With the shovel I would dig lots of traps, and transform the land at my will. Also to help different kinds of seeds (recolected by the women while we hunt and do most of the manual work) to make a garden and selfprovide us with vegetables.

The bike would help me doing the patrols around the land, and make a very fast way of communication between the watchtowers (a very primitive construction) in case of zombie-invasion.
The watchtowers would provide us a high recognition capability and also serve as a first stronghold, slowing the zombie swarm.

The rifle just as a defensive weapon against the zombies (dont waste the ammunition! :P)

The knife as a tool the sharp the sticks, and several other uses. As an EXTREMELY rare situation, as a close combat weapon, in case of losing my beloved axe!

The remaining fuel, as molotovs :P

posted a message on What would you like to see in the game...
I think most of the ideas of "normal" rpgs here posted are great, but cannot be done because of the speed of the game. It's a hack and slash, never stop fighting kind of game. Working classes, housing, charisma and factions don't mix with the game dinamic.

posted a message on Very confused about the storyline.
I recommend you play D1 and D2, paying attention. It's a very complex and interesting story, with characters backgrounds and moral issues. That makes Diablo DIABLO. (!)

    The info:
In Diablo 1, you defeat Diablo in his human host form (Prince Albretch). In the final animation sequence, you can see the hero (the warrior) stabbing himself in the head with the soulstone of Diablo, with the idea of retain him and being a "living cage".
In Diablo 2, you figure that the hero of D1, couldn't resist Diablo's influence and went corrupted. So, progressively (?) in the game you can see the demonic mutation of the Dark Wanderer.
Again, you destroy Diablo, but this time you destroy the soulstone, sending Diablo into the abyss.

From here, its not revealed how Diablo did come back to life. I assume (from what i've read in the forum) Lilith did the Dark Ritual, summoning Diablo into the mortal plane, making him independent of a host to remain in the plane of sanctuary.

posted a message on New item type, no sets
I would like a few set items, but with another "perspective"

    Set "Knight of Westmarch"
    set "Member of Vizjerei"
    Set "Matriarch of Amazon"

that kind of names. Also, NO overpower the set items, maybe make them useful when low level, but condicionate the idea of "ultimate gear". Anybody understood?

Maybe a random elemental damage, or make items really unique, and set items doesn't really achieve the full potential of our character...

posted a message on the hero for diablo 3 all 5?
I love the story of the necromancer, perhaps this could be the key to set the necromancer as a hero in an expansion.

I allways saw the assasin (maybe Natalya) as a future "Akara" but of the assasins clan.

The sorc gone mad and corrupted, so natalya killed her (?) or maybe she is selling magic stuffs in Lut Golein.

The paladin like and old man in a random city, telling his storyes and anyone paying atention to him just fit perfectly.

The druid forgotten even himself, and became one with the nature. Maybe in a north wood's mission, you encounter a legion of wooden wraits and a werewolf or werebear comes to aid you (!)

    amazon is DEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAD

Of course, but if its done, has to be a really balanced improvement.

ps. i said "missil damage" cause the style of the spell: 1 target only, and can ve avoid. Like the fireballs in d2!

posted a message on Death Proof is Cheese Discusion
italofolca, it's very difficult to set "2 times used in a fight". I think that death proofl is a VERY useful skil, but having a 2 mins cooldonw it's way to easy.

it can be set "no resurrection" in the pvp :Pl

Well, you are proposing "missil" damage followed by an area damage. That cant be difficult, if you remember de desintegrator skill of the wizard!

pd. I love the idea, but also concern about the overpower it could make between different partys and combinations.
