There is no point playing, and I will tell why:
1-90% of the base players, that started S4 are botting almost full time now. Even on hardcore, there is a LOT of bots. And no option to REPORT then, that fuck`s up the ladder system and Blizz do nothing (even bots like rosbot and demonbuddy doing injection on the game)
2-Paragon System is a joke - The more you play, the better you will be, even if you are a complety noob on the game. You learn how to play with the build in 5 minutes then you keep spamming the same thing for ages. This game has 0% player skill envolved.
3-For more active players, those ones who seek ladders positions, the game becomes even more pointless - If you dont have 16 free hours to play everyday, doing that "super fun" speed 65-70 in a infinite cycle, you will never be able to get a nice position on the ladder. Because paragons determines it almost automatically. And remeber, 90% of the player base is botting right now, so you will be playing alone almost every time.
4-Two classes clearly much better than others, so you will just see barbs and monks playing;
5-For high ranks GR, if you don`t open something like silver spire, act 1 spider screen or act 2 tombs, you can quit with 5% of the rift, because it will be impossible to complete it;
6-Density lag, that comes together with that ridiculous 2.3 patch even on PTR and Blizz do nothing to fix it;
7-No reason to roll DH and Wizz on this patch. Completely useless and no usable on a group;
8-Those damages are ridiculous. Why tha fuck a game must crit 100 billions of damage ? Bad, very bad game design, you can easily see that the game is some kind of frankestein.
9-Boring, nothing to do when you are solo and don`t have enough paragon to pass a 65+ grift solo. If you don`t have a group, go bot or don`t even polay at all.
You need decent rift, very good density, not too many ranged mobs and must take A LOT OF CARE with elites affixes. Some of then can easily 1 shot you. Not having 1300+ vit on weapon is crucial. Makes huge difference.
Try to roll another one.
Sucess at 66 here, not trying too much. Less than 10 tries, just need a good rift. Those big spiders, those flying big creatures, easy blues... then goes on. Just keep trying and good luck.

I took a conduit in a 65 and took not even 20% of the boss's life. What could have happened? As the Conduit works now? Did 60 and 63 using it and the boss was destroyed quickly. Playing with Barb simply impossible to achieve kill a boss in a 65. So, ALL depends on luck in this game now? Can not create a mechanical using at least some of the brain of the player, something creative, creative items, creative challenges to not get tired so quickly? I was playing, then i got a DC then i try to kill a boss at 65 using conduit (the only way that a barbarian can kill a gr, nice mechanichs grats blizz)
I took rank 50 barbarian with 3 hours of PTR. Now come the next patch, abusers will be paragon 2000 and will not have any competitive again. After all, what sense this game? Be doing speed (usually holding a button or using two skills at most) and get infinitely XP for +5 main stat?

Some different builds for barbarian (WW of course, this game don`t let you progress on the way you want, because one skill does 120% damage and other (DD) 2500% per tick.
If you want to grind some ladder position, there it goes a nice channel !
Don't worry. If barb (and not your barb) can't kill a rift guardian without conduit, and conduit only kills a GR65 rift guardian for 20%, nobody will kill it, and you can compete for GR64
EVERY class has some limitations, and on the solo leaderboard you compete against your own class. So, it will still be competitive, don't worry
And yes, you will probably have to "fish for conduit", just like every class will have to fish for something to compete for the top spot.
On top of all this, barb seems to be very good in group play, so you can still rank high on the 2-4 player leaderboards (compared to other classes/in the past).
Another problem is, people don't think out of the box (or can't due to PTR lag). All barbs just keep going for WW, while blizzard is pushing hota and ss. Sadly, those builds don't really work currently because of lag, but they really have potential, also for single target.
Last but not least, most "top builds" only show up like a month after the patch goes live, or even the last day, to keep them hidden and have an advantage. So be prepared to see some really strong builds coming out

I made a 60 and a 63 using conduit on boss (WOW, THE ONLY WAY THAT A FUCKING BARBARIAN CAN KILL A BOSS, NICE GAME MECHANIC) and tyhe conduit just melted the boss.
Then, I got DCED because the game was not up to date by any reason.
So, when I logged again, I reached the boss of a 65 and the conduit simple didn`t made 20% damage on boss life.
That`s why I`m asking.
