People ask for Diablo 4 and they give us Diablo 1...

TBF, they didn't give us D1, this is from the GoG team, who also made the enhanced version, from what I know, Blizzard just gave them permission to release it (obviously, they are probably getting a cut as well) which is why it is not available on Battle.net.

Hey guys/gals, those of you who are still popping in from time to time!

Diablo is now available at GoG.com!

There are two different versions you can choose from, first version is the GoG version which has enhance graphics, and better sounds, however it can not connect to Battle.net. The other version is the original battle.net version.

Item is currently listed at $9.99.

Honestly, answers are going to be minimal here, I would suggest going to the Diablo Technical Forums.

    Hey guys/gals!

As a long standing member/moderator of this site, I have seen an awful lot of content, features and people, but personally my favorite thing on this site is easily the Fan Art, When I became a moderator, I personally wanted to look after the Fan Art section, somehow even convinced Molster to have a contest for the front page once!

I am just curious, what is your favorite part of this site? If could be anything that you have experienced on here.

Just joined over there! Any chance we could get a build sheet transfer from this site? I wonder if that's possible, anyone from DFans with an easy way to xfer this?

Unfortunately, I do not believe it is possible.

This is both great for the player base who are really enjoying this season, as well as a stall tactic on Blizzard's part, it's literally a win/win.

posted a message on DiabloFans says farewell. Let's celebrate the good old times once more!

This is pretty bittersweet for me, I have been on this site since the very beginning, well close to it anyways, I will always remember all the fun moments we use to have on this site, from the Easter Egg hunt, to staying up late on iiRC decrypting the new splash pages from Blizzard, and being super freaking excited when Molster announced that Blizzard was buying the Diablo3.com IP when we had to change to Diablofans.com.

So I would like to personally thank @Molster for giving me a chance to mod for all these years, and although I have not been not super active these last few years in the forums, I have still logged on every single day to make sure all those pesky bots were perma banned.

I would love to still be a part of the Diablo Community in one form or another, I'm sure you will all be seeing me around at some point!

The 100 employees were on contracts that ended at the end of the year, so I wouldn't look at that as a bad sign. (they were also from the Europian division)

There is no doubt in my mind that Blizzard needs to take a step back and re-evaluate what kind of company it wants to be going forward, I know they have activision whispering in their ears like the Old Gods, it is about finding the balance, they are on track to have a new game every year, and that has never been a good strategy.

posted a message on Diablo 4 Reportedly in Development Under Code Name Fenris

Honestly, I do not need Diablo to be in every game, I just want to play in the world of Sanctuary/High Heavens/Hell, So every game does not need to cater around Diablo himself, Their are plenty of other stories to tell, for example the Baroness from Diablo 2, her story is a great story, and you can base an entire game around exploring her tower facing all the mini bosses and eventually facing her to save that town, like Castlevania.

It is about the corruption that the prime evils create in there wake.

Another example would be set in the past, where you are a priest of the Zakerum Temple coming back from a mission, and as you play through, you notice weirder and more nefarious happenings going on, only to find out your entire order is corrupted by Mephisto.

Looking back at this a week later, I have a couple thoughts:

    1) The mobile market is hard to ignore, so I can understand a mobile game. I think they should have had something to offer to the audience present, and that was a foolish PR move on their part. The "will this be ported to PC/Console" question could have been answered better with "we're not planning on it, but maybe we'll consider it based on feedback."

    2) This will be *something* to fill the gap while other stuff is being developed and I can play it while not at home, so I wouldn't say I'm excited about it, but I may get it anyways cause it's still Diablo.

    3) Bringing a Blizzard-Quality game to Mobile could be a pretty awesome thing. The initial reviews sounded positive about the way it plays, even though it's a mobile game. I don't really like mobile games, but if this is a cut above the rest, that may be good both for this game and other mobile games along the way.

    4) Part of me hopes there's some skunkworks going on. As one of the fans pointed out in the initial Q&A, there seem to be features I'd like to see in a PC/Console Diablo title. Bosses with mechanics, interacting with the environment...stuff that was initially teased for Diablo 3. If they do it for Immortal, I hope they do it in D4 and even improve upon it.

    5) I don't blame anyone for being angry. I'm still not really happy about it. I'm trying to find the positives with it, but man, I really get why people are mad. And reiterating on point 1, I can't believe they didn't announce *SOMETHING* that would've been properly directed at the assembled audience. The initial responses made it worse. People deserve to be mad about this one. I just hope it ends well.

Edit: 6) I also wonder if they dropped some fairly covert hints relating indirectly to D3. All of the classes in Immortal are D3 classes. They mentioned adding their favorite classes: Assassin, Witch Doctor and Druid. WD is obviously also a D3 class. There have been subtle hints about Druid being added to D3 in the future...could Assassin also be on its way to D3?

I agree with some of your statements, however I can not agree with #3, this is not their game, this is NetEasy's game that is just reskinned with the current diablo animations, they didn't even bother to create anything new for it.

Honestly, I would rather have a mobile Diablo card game, instead of another generic hack and slash.
