* Gems have changed, Green very well could have been strength prior to launch but then felt red better suited it, who knows it could have been pure crit or Atk Power before they made stats the prime (Look at his damage compared to his items, it is clear that it is being enhanced by something else and it isn't magic find)
* The picture was taken a month before release and as we know they removed alkot of stuff in that last month, not sure why they changed the socketed weapons though, I would like 2socket weapons.
* Stephen Wong right clicks his main attack...ewwwww. -

I'm sure the 100% unlock will be nice, but the commercials certaintly aren't giving me Nerd Chills ™. They are pretty meh to me for a couple of reasons.
1. There's no in-game footage. Sure, Blizzard makes great cinematics just like Squaresoft and some other developers, but why sell a game or even base a game on cinematics? These commercials rely entirely on brand-recognition.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KTSxUPJtIjQ
For some reason, no matter how tired, sick or jaded I am, either my hair stands on end or my blood starts flowing when i watch this nearly 10 year-old trailer. I have a funny feeling it's because it's a trailer is pretty much 90% in-game footage and also because the narrator saying "Blizzard Entertainment proudly invites you..."
2. A good sign of a bad movie is usually when a commercial or trailer shows you most of the plot in one session. I'm getting alittle bit of that vibe from D3. Even though SC2 had a polished SP experience, it's trailers and reveals were put out their in trailers and even artwork before the game was released. It was a precursor to finding out that the story was pretty meh and that Blizzard is slowly losing their talent at "world-building."
God bless you if you are getting excited over seeing Imperious rendered in a cinematic. I'm a little curious now to see how they would render heaven, if they render heaven, in-game. Stll, personally I know that it's more about what Imperius does and his dialogue that will shape how good the story is, and possibly even some of the gameplay elements.
You know thats Optimus Prime right? -

So is this going to be one of those times that Peter defeated Diablo, and then a flashback sequence?
I love Family Guy's use of over using long drawn out segments, like the "Ooooo ahhhhh....Ooooohhh ahhhhh" or Stewies travels just to punch Will Ferrel in the face -

One bug fix despite all the rubberbanding reports? A whole patch for one bug fix? They haven't designed their game so they can hotfix something small like this? I wonder how often D3 is going to be down once it goes live if they can't hotfix small things.
Every game has unknown issues at launch, look at ScII, that game had to have pissed of millions on release, it was on and off again for 2-3 days and people couldn't even play the single player heh. -

I don't believe so. - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

If you log into battle.net, the code gets saved under your account there, so you should be-able to re-download it if needed, as for the characters make sure your not trying to load into the PTR.

The music was probably one of the best things about D3 TBH, kind hope some of that sticks around while also giving us some more eerie drums in darker areas.

RoS yes, no doubt.
RotN - only if you want to play the necro.

I personally would enjoy seeing some addon control, like custom UI's.
Customer UI's are not for everyone, but I really enjoy seeing some artists really go after it and give folks a chance to express themselves in ways that no one else can see other than screenshots.

I actually really like your videos.

There is a difference between a remake and remaster, SC1 was a remaster, slightly upgraded grapics and a few ui improvements, versus a remake that is suppose to be rebuilt from the ground up and introduces new story elements like new cut scenes, new animations, new ui, new graphics ect...
The probablem with reforged was that it was promised to be a remake but ended up being a remaster, and people were not happy.
it could have singlehandedly ruined all of Blizzard's plans for future projects as people will have lost trust.

The only thing it really says that is absolutely true is that the Barb and Druid will be classes, everything else in that post is very subjective, and actually has nothing to do with D4 and or were obvious statements, like the graphics will be better, the game will be darker, we already knew that.
IMO Blizzard can not introduce the Amazon and Paladin, if they do, every single class will have been from D2, and people will complain that there were no new classes, they need something new.

A lot of the things it gets right are basic details that were already hinted at long ago, or guesses based on what fans have been speculating.
Official Title - Diablo IV (No sub title) - False (Return to Darkness)
Camera View and Genre - Isometric MMOARPG - Obvious
No Load Times (except loading in the game for the first time or logging in and out) - False - going in and out of dungeons has load times.
New sophisticated Engine with a ton of improvements over Diablo III and new functionalities for new gameplay systems and visual design - obvious
Made for consoles in mind from the get go - obvious
Art Style is VERY dark, gory/bloody and gritty - think Diablo II days mixed with Dark Souls and Bloodborne but much more modernized obviously. The new engine is able to create atmospheric visuals and dark tones that immerse the players. Picture the world of Sanctuary as if it was in the Dark Souls or Bloodborne universe. Super dark and gothic. - obvious and hinted at early on.
Blizzard are happy with the many systems and improvements they've made over the course of Diablo III: Reaper of Souls such as the Kunai Cube, Wardrobe loadouts, Seasonal Journeys, Rifts/G-Rifts and so on. - ok?
Blizzard learned a lot from their Diablo III and Reaper of Souls mistakes/lessons and used the feedback to create and design new and improved systems for Diablo IV - Duh
Music is going to harken back to Diablo I and Diablo II. It will feel very very familiar to the old-school Diablo fans but also have it's own unique twist to it and sound that is catered specifically to Diablo IV - Every game has a new soundtrack.
Blizzard will be treating Diablo IV as a reboot of the franchise. Those who wanted a Diablo II Remake and a brand new Diablo game will be pleased. Basically, it's a combination of both made for the modern era. Best way to think of this is the latest God of War that was released in April for the PlayStation 4 in 2018. - False - D4 is a sequel based a couple decades later, and is not a reboot.
Diablo II Remake/Remaster was planned, but they later realized that it would be much better to give the franchise a complete reset and put majority of the fans requests into 1 giant package. - No way to prove
The demo we've seen lasted about 20 to 30 minutes. I am not sure if this is the same demo they will be using for Blizzcon later this year or if they have a new one in the works specifically created for the fans and press too see. - No way to prove
The demo showcased core elements of Diablo IV such as the Loot, Barbarian Class (a bit of Druid as well), Combat and the most interesting (in my opinion) how it all comes together as an isometric MMO and blends in with a brand new eco-system and creates a next-generation Diablo experience - What?
The world of Sanctuary is MUCH MUCH MUCH larger than before due to the game going the MMO route. The space is necessary to accommodate the players. - Semi true, map is larger, we have no idea how many zones will be in the game right off the bat though.
A server will hold around 100 or so people at a time as of now. - TBD
Tristram will be one of the Hub cities in the game. (This was one the one we saw in the demo) Blizzard has stated there are more hub-cities, but did not show or told us what they are. - False
You can trade items in the game with other players such as gold, basic crafting materials (special crafting materials are soulbound and cannot be sold) and any kind of loot ranging from grey quality and all the way up to rare yellows. Blizzard is not sure yet what to do with Legendary items/weapons yet and if they should be tradeable or not as far as the game's economy goes due to competitive fairness and end-game systems that have a lot of functionalities with the legendary loot. - Only partially true, trading will be in the game, but from what blizzard said, you can basically trade anything.
The class that was showcased in great detail to the employees was a Barbarian- signature moves such as whirlwind return and many other favorite skills. Druid was also part of the demo, but for extremely short time and only used as an example for their new combo combat system. - Barb is an obvious choice and mentioning fan favorite skills is just guessing. (whirlwind was never shown in the demo)
Combat system will have combos. You will be able to use a combination of skills in succession to do more damage or create larger area of effect attacks. As a Barbarian you can chain pull into an enemy and then jump over them and then you have a choice of either throwing them into another demon or grabbing them and then pummeling them into the ground with your bare hands or simply stunning the target and then use an execution move to chop their head off. You can ONLY do execution moves when the enemy is near death. - according the blizzcon demo - False.
The demo showed how a druid player can use the combo system. In the clip the player was able to morph into different animal forms (including wolf and bear) during mid-combat flawlessly without any weird transitions or awkward attack animations using different sets of moves and skills from each of the forms in a matter of seconds. It looked very impressive. - True - and probably a lucky guess
The combo system was created to evolve combat for the Diablo franchise. Blizzard wanted to make sure that if they're going dark and gritty, the combat had to be dark and gritty as well. - Combat is actually more flashy than 3
Paladin, Barbarian, Sorcerer, Amazon and Druid are planned for launch with more coming later. Blizzard wants people to feel like this is Diablo II all over again but in a completely new era of the franchise. Blizzard were also debating whether to include the Druid or Necromancer class at launch of Diablo IV. Blizzard decided put the Druid for launch of Diablo IV and Necromancer for later, since the Necromancer was released already for Diablo III.- Partially true, last two classes have no been announced yet, and it is likely that Blizzard is waiting to see what people want, if the amazon truely is one of the classes, that means that 4/5 of the classes would be D2 launch classes, with the druid also being in D2, all 5 would be from D2, Blizzard likely will not do this...imo
Crafting will return in Diablo IV and will be a very important system and part of the entire game and its economy. If you enjoy crafting in MMOs or in games in general then you are in for a treat according to Blizzard. - False - Never mentioned in any of the panels.
Blizzard is well aware of games such as Path of Exile, Grim Dawn and Wolcen and their current skill systems. As a matter of fact, they have a whole special team dedicated to playing those games extensively for research and game development purposes. Blizzard are creating something new unique of their own for Diablo IV as far as character progression goes and yes stat allocations are back as well.- doesn't mean anything
No word on PvP yet or anything of that sort. However, Blizzard did say that since they're going the MMO route, the PvP factor is kind of important to a lot of players. Although, right now they're strongly focusing on creating a fantastic PvE Diablo experience. They do not want to promise anything in regards to PvP ever since with what happened to PvP in Diablo III only to later disappoint the fans. PvP is something that will be looked at in the future once the game is in a stable place and the playerbase is happy. - False - Blizzard said PVP was a focus from the start at Blizzcon
Diablo IV will be the new era for Diablo and will be a game as a service. New free content patches will come out that will add quality of life changes, new additions, items and so on. Paid expansions are also possible, but right now its still undecided and Blizzard won't know until the game is launched and until they see if its successful or not. They do not want to announce anything that's regarding to paid content until they are 100% sure of their plans and what they will be adding next post-launch. - False - Blizzard already mention there will be future expansions down the line.
Right now the goal is to get the game ready playable demo for Blizzcon's 2019 and of course all the marketing material as well. After that, it will be preparing for the beta in 2020 and then the release.- obvious
Release is being debated between late 2020 or early 2021 depending on how things go, but as of now it seems early 2021 is more likely. Will be coming to PC PlayStation 5 and Project Scarlett. - Blizzard stated they still have a long ways to go, and will keep us updated throughout the year, this timeframe seems unlikely.

The leak got more wrong than it got right, so I would take it with a grain of salt honestly.
Blizzard mentioned that they had multiple classes set to come in at different points throughout the game's life, so it is possible they are waiting to see people's reactions towards certain classes.
I personally would love a holy inquisitor or a shadow user.

I personally received 4 emails, 3 of them went into the spam folder due to my emails strict policy regarding duplicates.
This post was from 10 months ago, before we even shut down, unfortunately due to migration To/from twitch, some inactive accounts were lost.
I wasnt lying to you when I said I would look into it, I even browsed all the user_XXXX's to see if I could find your posts.
What I am not understanding is why post count is going to discourage you or anyone from posting, the amount of posts you have doesnt mean you love the series any more or less does it?

I'm gonna say May 24th 2021.

I'm leaning more towards Malic, considering Malic's soul was once trapped in someones pinky, and the guy in the video is missing a pinky.
Malic probably just took over the entire body after he was presumed "baniashed" to the after life.
Although, it could very well be Mendeln, Who would look like Rathma since he was his disciple, however does not share his hatred of his mother, and strongly believes in Balance, so him summoning Lillith could be to counter something else happening in Sanctuary.
A lot has to do with his eyes being like black shiny stones, and being able to control people's will by staring into their eyes.
