Alrite, tell me what you think about this!!

Okay so, these have been the dates Blizzard has released something new (monster, location, class, lore):

In chronological order:

1st - 06.28.08

2nd -09.04.08

3rd - 09.18.08

4th - 10.02.08

5th - 10.10.08

6th - 02.26.09

Okay so from the 2nd release to the 1st, it was a difference of under 3 months.

From the 3rd release to the 2nd; 14 days.

From the 4th to the 3rd; under 1 month.

From the 5th to the 4th; 8 days.

From the 6th to the 5th; over 4 months.

These stats have brought a couple ideas to me:

1) The updates seemed to have followed a trend. Let me explain, there seemed to be an update every couple of months, then after that one another one would follow shortly; a week or so after. Then, this cycle would repeat. (Proof: under 3 months/14 days. Then 1 month/8 days.) So, is this a trend? Should we expect another update soon based on these results? (over 4 months/ xx days??)

2) Since many of the updates have taken a long time to be posted; (3 months, 1 month, 4 months) does this mean that Blizzard has nothing to post? or do they have a lot of material but just want to post it slowly to keep fans interested until the game is finalized and ready to be realeased?

Heyyy i know theres some significant thing about a meteor in d3, but what is it? hahaha is that like the story for d3 or something? like the meteor smashes into the cathedral after d2? so confused, someone enlighten me please!? :rolleyes:

is this monster only going to be found in the dungeons in which the screenshots were taken or like found in other places? because so far pretty much all the screenshots have come from that one dungeon.

Hmmm... so it took like.. what 4 months (1/4 of a year by the wayyy) to come out with a new monster a piece of artwrok? somewhat disappointed but nonetheless, its new material! i think he looks great, and even if he resembles the abomination from WC3/WoW who gives a shit, he fits perfectly well in the diablo realm!

and why is everyone obsessing over a piece of artwork by peter lee? does it show us anything?

hmm.. well i'd love to do this... i've played roller coaster tycoon, sim theme park, etc. religiously... i've mastered the hardest levels in those games so i would know exactly what to do except one problem.... i cant draw for shit! ahahha so yeh.. is there like another way we can submit this? hahaha

As much as runewords are interesting and cool to look at, they ruined the game I'm afraid.

Runewords kinda made multiple skills useless.
Examples:

Enigma (gives any class teleport... Lame..)

CtA (gives any class battle orders, etc... Lame...)

There are more which I do not dare mention.

Anyways so yeah, like I said certain skills MADE the class but runewords kinda took away that novelty.It's just my opinion, but i am VERY happy they arent coming back. Let's get those awesome uniques back not random stuff with runes socketed into em. :rolleyes:

The game is too early in it's development to start thinking about stuff like this.

Give the developers some time to complete the game first. :rolleyes:

For me... Probably the wizard out of the three but I got to admit... I'm not a big fan of any of the three so far... I need a PALADIN OF THE SORT!!! The barb looks good, but I mean it's a barb.. Never been that big of a fan of the barb... Witch Doctor looks sooo support that he couldnt do anything on his own.. Maybe if he had some kind of direct damage.. Like a spear or spirit or some dmg dealing skill... and the Wizard well, she's the typical spell caster.. So yeah, out of those three the wizard but I am dieingggg to know the two remaining classes!!!!

I actually dont agree that there was a blacksheep in D2, and I dont think there will be one in D3. Obviously some people wont like a certain class, but others will... Like in D2 I wasnt a big fan of the Barbarian at all but he wasnt a blacksheep at all... Anyways, thats just my two sense worth. Blizzard will do a good job and make all classes enjoyed by a lot of people I'm sure.

I dont get it.

Although I will most probably play the Paladin type class (holy melee fighter / auras / healing / etc. That is, if they come out with one.) But for now I voted for the Wizard out of those three.
