Quote fromAnd so Blizzard's downfall begins. Soon they'll be making MMOs like Spore or The Sims, you know games with "broader appeal"
Exactly. IMO, series like Warcraft and Starcraft already have a broad appeal. I can understand Diablo being darker and gritter and therefore having a smaller audience. But geez...

I agree with this on the basis of lore but not on the basis of an item-based game/economy.
I like collecting items/trading items/giving items to friends/etc. If I get bad luck and get several of 1 unique, why should it be difficult for me to store them?
Heck, half of the fun I had when I played WoW was selling on the auction house.
Fundamentally, we should want Blizz to design a game around helping players not hindering bots. There are other ways to hinder/reduce botting that doesn't affect the average person's gaming experience.

What do you guys think about stackable uniques? If you have two of the same item, should they be able to stack?
I say why not? Anything that allows me to store more items is A-OK in my book.

Items being sold is something that there is no control over. As long as there is money to be made, gold/item farmers will be selling D3 items. It's like saying a concert should be able to control ticket scalpers. You just can't control what happens outside of your juresdiction.

That's only good for FOH main target damage. I was referring to Holy Bolt which is generic magic damage.
Can that be changed by dstoning as well?
EDIT: Found it. Yes it can.

Or is the only way to do it to stack the shit out of +1 to Skills? I have a feeling my Holy Bolt dam is going to be maxed out around 12 to 15k.

1) Pandemonium Diablo
2) Unique Apparition /w Immune to Physical, Immune to Magic
Needless to say, I died. Luckily, I lured Diablo far enough away to corpse run to the Staff of Kings from a portal and get the hell out of there.

2) Not get too burnt out and lose characters from being idle.

This is wrong. Probability/item drop chance is not affected by an previous event and cannot affect a future event.
If the drop chance of an item is 1%, it remains the same if it hasn't dropped in a year or has dropped off the last 3 mobs.
The whole concept of MFing is probability.

I wouldn't take that bet. I could see it happening.
