Oct 15, 2010exen88 posted a message on Wizard Looks Good in New Item SetThe best items have to be super high-fantasy and flashy or else it would turn into a game where a lvl 99 pally can wear a brown rag that has some 9000 defense on it...Posted in: News

"Shoulder pad too big? Oh thats not realistic." Its fictional to begin with anyways. I would like to see some exotic gears that defines realism and such. I actually love the designs from great epic gears from WoW. Looks awesome. We need more of that but not too much that it is still diablo. -
Oct 5, 2010exen88 posted a message on Wizard in Plate MailI like this armor just a little bit. I would like to see some epic armor with glowing Aura or light or energy or what ever that makes it even more mightier or more magical. I hope this isn't the best they have for the end of normal. I would like to see even more exotic/crazy designs in Diablo 3.Posted in: News

Sep 21, 2009exen88 posted a message on "The Road To Diablo III"I agree with everything they said. Its hardwork, afterall. Reiteration is what I do to all my artworks. I never stop polishing it until I cannot polish it anymore. This is why all of blizzard's games have longevity. No matter how small a detail is it can always be better.Posted in: News

Sep 15, 2009exen88 posted a message on Blizzard's Next MMO Will Have "Broader Appeal".They're not making a console game. The mmorpg will be a "casual play" since it will appeal to a broader audience. it will be as broad as the wii systems and its games. Something like Spore where you can create things and play it like an rpg, say Diablo meets spore or the like. Though, Spore was a waste of money. But who knows, Blizzard makes great games, and let just hope for a really fun mmorpg that everyone will like.. and it will definitely be made for the PC. Though, the majority of casual gamers are on the consoles.Posted in: News

Sep 6, 2009exen88 posted a message on Bashiok on the Witch Doctor's "Zombie Dogs"Posted in: NewsQuote from "ANK" »I just think that. If it is called Zombie Dog, the other skills in diablo 3 might as well be like.
Barbarian Spins, Earthquake Hit, Magical Beam...etc..
So, please blizzard rethink about this change.
Lolz... that's right.... what is blizzard thinking?
"Wizard Dissappear" sounds good too, blizzard. -
Sep 1, 2009exen88 posted a message on Bashiok on the Witch Doctor's "Zombie Dogs"Zombie Dog? I thought blizzard were experts in making up things? That name sounds like it was made up by a 10 year old nerd. It doesn't fit blizzard's style. I prefer the Mongrel, it sounds better and more mature.Posted in: News

What a cool, quick and powerful swing. You don't see too many of that in other games. D3 is going to be the ultimate game for me.Posted in: News

Jul 28, 2009exen88 posted a message on Traditional Weapon-Character Relation MaintainedPosted in: NewsQuote from "Seth" »No, only specific types of swords. You won't see a Wizard holding a ten-ton, two-handed sword. A short sword? Yes, most likely.
Of course, so far we haven't seen a Wizard carry anything but that odd, glowing orb, so we don't even know if the stereotypical casting weapons will only be limited to that, anyway.
And, of course, as was quoted, that isn't set in stone yet, anyway (although it is very likely).
Bashiok said that it shouldn't be an issue, although he failed to elaborate on how they were going to supplement it. In all reality, though, not many people play outside the norm, anyway. Although it's nice to have the option there, of course.
Again, bashiok stated that because of the weapon restriction they are allowed to dive into creating better stats in a weapon specific for a class. This is only logical as it helps the character archetype, as he said. So, in saying, it would be pointless for a wizard to wield a sword when that sword doesn't give any specific stats to the wizard. Overall, if you look at it this way, no one will use a sword or any other weapon in the long run just because they don't get anything out of that weapon.
as quoted by Bashiok...
We want variation, and experimentation, and all that good stuff. These restrictions don't affect those goals, it really just means you probably won't see a wizard lugging around a two-handed axe. Kind of a bummer, but then think about what it affords us to work on with more and better looking skills, a more robust rune-skill system, etc.
The list of what weapon types are or aren't allowed for each class aren't final and could change. They're fairly logical choices and what is most commonly seen as closely tied to the hero archetypes. -
Jul 28, 2009exen88 posted a message on Traditional Weapon-Character Relation MaintainedSo to say, you'll probably never see a wizard holding a sword as this weapon can only be carried by a barbarian or a class capable of wielding such weapons. Imagine 1000 players playing the wizard class and none of them holds any other different kinds of weapons other than a staff and stave. They all will look the same.Posted in: News
With the class restricted items being implemented, I can only hope it doesn't ruin the game in the character building aspect, anyways. -
Jul 18, 2009exen88 posted a message on Bashiok on "Encouraging People to Play Together"Leeching is just a part of the game. Its not really a problem the game has, it is the players. If d3 dev team decides to make d3 so people cannot leech anymore in any shape or form, the game will become bland and will lack all of what made it fun in the first place.Posted in: News
A game moderation will be abused no matter what. So to say, you hate leechers and you wish they would die or disappear, well here is the thing, when you were getting rush you're basically leeching. Imagine if d3 dev team created anti-leeching. All of what they stand for will be for nothing. People won't play together, the game becomes bland because people aren't playing together, and they might lose profits from sales because people won't buy d3 . Why? it has a bad rating due to the fact that .."people aren't playing together and therefore it is boring." That's why blizzard are being open-minded and fair to everyone. Being biased is a bad thing to have. - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

BTW,I don't understand why people keep on thinking the game has to have some realism functions as far as armor and gears go. It doesn't matter how much armor a character is wearing!! Its a VIDEO GAME with sci-fi, unrealistic, high-fantasy functions which is what we all love in a great game as D3... She can be all agile she wants with whatever she is wearing. The character needs to have an impressive visual to please our eyes. Its not Fable or Elder Scrolls. If you would like that kind of function, you would not find it in D3.

limitations on skills shouldn't result in cool downs or anything else other than your mana capacity. Whats the point of having a cool skills if you have to wait every 9 sec to use it? this would just mean you would have to run away from battle and wait just so you can use it when time is up. Though it can be said the same with teleport if its usage is unlimited. Than again, it should just depend on mana capacity of one's character. I like the fact that you can do teleport like that in d2. Hopefully the game will change and balance out. No cool down for sure. It sucks and won't be fun to wait.
