That's pretty valid. Initially i supposed that the debuff wouldn't last long enough to prove effective and it only applies to two targets instead of 3 like focus does so i had opted not to use it. However that was before i was getting up to 48+ where your casting your generator more frequently and relying on it for the hatred regen.

I switched to justice is served instead earlier today but haven't had the opportunity to actually try some high GRs with it yet as i need to level another gem to replace Iceblink.

I still don't see attack speed as being a viable option, and I think ultimately Odysseys end will be an inferior weapon compared to a nice 2 handed crossbow. compared to the value of crit chance/ crit damage / socket on jewelry it just does not compare.

I believe with Nighstalker most of my hatred issues will be resolved anyways especially using 2HXbow. I think Iceblink in terms of DPS increase will beat all the other gems. 10% crit when you have 500% crit dmg is a 50% damage increase. I know it doesn't work exactly like that but close enough for my purposes. Really want to get my hands on an ancient Bariza but until they ill use Entangling shot and see how far I can push.

Ancient Legendary, best weapon I've found/crafted so far. Has RCR good damage and Discipline on it already. I havent had any luck crafting a nice ancient arcane barb otherwise I would be using that.

posted a message on UE6 setup advice please.

I'm currently using UE6 and DML with an ancient legendary odysseys end. My max so far was GR 50 without any fishing. My set up Is Companion (Wolf), Prep( invigoration) vault (tumble), MFD (contagion), Evasive fire (focus) and MS(arsenal).

Focus/restraint eclipses any other ring combination IMO, 100% multiplicative damage bonus is just absolutely amazing.

For gems I'm using BoT, Zei's Stone, and Iceblink. Iceblink turns your EF focus into your slow and provides 10% crit on chilled targets which at high gear levels(400%+ CHD) works out to be quite a large damage increase, and since you will use this regularly to restore resources you will have a pretty good amount of the mobs you fight slowed proccing bane of the trapped and CTW.

I would really like to find an ancient Bariza with 2X pierce, I feel like this would make EF focus absolutely amazing as a slow especially on large groups of trash.

This brings me to passives. I'm using steady aim, cull the weak, ballistics, awareness, and when I get a decent hellfire amulet ill be using night stalker.

The stat priority I'm going with is as follows CHD>CHC>RCR. Obviously full MS dmg on boots, helm, quiver and Hatred regen on chest/quiver( as its better than RCR with 1 2H xbow. Discipline on every item I can have it on.

What do you guys think, is there anything i could do different that would make this better?(is there a certain point at which RCR would be more valuable than CHC?) right now im at 62.5% crit +10% from iceblink and almost 500% CHD

posted a message on 2.2 PTR: 12m sheet dps and more fun things - My take on all the new DH changes

With UE EA and chakram (with Krider or spines equipped) both proc the generator buff from Bastions Will. So essentially the same krider EA build will be viable just using MS to proc the spender aspect of Bastions will.

I just found an ancient legendary Krider last night on seasonal so I'm anxious to try it out. Would like to hear opinions on if its worth it to run the DML instead of MB. Napkin math says that a perfect DML (60% HP double dmg) which means you deal 100% more damage 60% of the time(60% dmg increase) where meticulous bolts travels 30% speed(so essentially 3X the number of hits per mob (300% damage increase) If EA is still benefiting from the discipline damage buff then MB is clearly the winner.

Yeah I'm pretty excited to see this buff. With the old design to it i was pushing tier 46 with a multishot build. With these new buffs (and the removal of disc from nats) it really opens up the availability of a lot of different options. I'm not sure about tier 58 solo, but certainly looking like 50 will be attainable. I'm not sure if they made it so Krider doesn't interact with the set bonus like it did previously. With the changed focus/restraint you could still have an incredibly strong combo using MS and EA together if they haven't altered it yet.

This ring is incredibly good. For example on a DH you can remove crit chance from amulets, rings, gloves, quiver, and instead go with RCR, you just gained 40% more RCR(not that much with DR but still) with M6 your pets are gonna proc this super fast, it will essentially give you something to the effect of the same crit you would sit at gearing for crit(60% roughly) and additionally add in a ton of RCR.

How about removing the ring, and make the effect the rank25 bonus of a legendary gem? This would make the legendary gem pretty much mandatory for alot of specs, but its not like RORG isnt.

One could make the effect on several legendary gems, so one could pick between different ones. For example one for tanks and one for dps. The effect would ofc have to be unique, so you cant reduce set by 2 or 3.

    This.

In regards to the Zdog WD...I play seasonal so yeah that really is not viable for me. Secondly WH is a 1% drop chance I'm not counting on seeing that particular belt anytime soon however the caltrops belt is common. In a side by side comparison the damage is comparable for me, that's without optimized gear for UE.

In and ideal circumstance you would use an ancient Nats Slayer, Nats Ring, and either RORG with Prides Fall, or 12 disc Manald heal.

I didnt do full math on it so i cant say but from my testing with both M6 (optimized) and UE (not optimized) I have seen a difference of maybe 1 rift levels...(47 with UE)(48 with optimized M6) granted I'm not the best player but this seems pretty reasonable to me.

I don't see them buffing this set much beyond where it is now. If you do it right you get 1130% damage to your Multishot. My multishot crits for up to 300 million with full disc set up, additionally it hits twice when the target is below 60% hp if you have DML (600 million dmg crits). Looking at the dps side by side I'm really not seeing M6 so far ahead like people are saying. Do the math, 5 turrets out gives you 500% increased damage to your own personal spender, then each one of those turrets is worth 1 of you in essence so another 500% dmg per turret. Napkin math of 1000% dmg. So in a side by side comparison Unhallowed actually pulls ahead when using multishot and there is zero ramp up time or management to worry about, you gain 40% damage reduction, and unlimited Discipline.

Multishot has some damn nice DPRS, which yes its burst is lower but is sustained damage is higher than cluster arrow in any iteration, which doesn't mean shit at GR 40, but if your playing in a group pushing 50+ sustained becomes important. With enough RCR a generator is almost not necessary, and because of the nature of the build and having unlimited disc, you can use caltrops with jagged spikes....this is essentially free damage(even more so if the caltrops belt drops whichever rune your using) you just vault around dropping caltrops everywhere then draw the mobs back to you through your mine field. Or if your brave just vault through the enemy dropping clatrops everywhere then get into a solid position and start unloading multishots.

Its still to early an iteration to tell yet with this set but mathematically speaking in a side by side comparison they should be damn close.
