posted a message on So where do I go from here?

Yup - once you got the best gear - the very end game is leveling up gems and use them to augment your gear and see how high of a GR you can do.

However, you can always start another toon - maybe even HC if you only did SC and complete the rest of the Season Challenges.

posted a message on Manald Heal confusion

First off - there's two vastly different Lightning Archon builds - Those with Obsidian Ring and those without - which uses Convention of Elements, which seems like that's the one you are using according to the D3planner.

You don't use Arcane Torrent because you aren't using Obsidian to shorten the cool down. That's why you use Magic Missile - it doesn't use arcane mana.

You want as high of a Cool Down Rate aiming for around 64% to cycle with Convention of Elements - need to pop archon to time with the rotation of Lightning.

Paralysis procs with Manald Heal more if you have high Attack Speed. So with Gogok of Swiftness and Archon stacks you want to aim for 5 aps. Unbuffed you should have it close to 2.0 if not higher.

Starfire is better than The Furnace - because of all the lightning attacks you are using. You want your bracers to have the highest elemental damage out of everything - so that's what the element is used while in Archon form.

So - you are pretty much teleporting (Arcane) around - why you use Aether Walkers - and casting Magic Missile (Cold). When Archon is ready to pop - use Black Hole - Spellsteal (Lightning) to group as many enemies as possible (more damage stacks) - then cast Archon (Fire). With all 4 elements cast the Tal Rasha set will be giving you a huge damage boost. All the while timing the rotation of elements via Convention of Elements.

So the stacks - Tal Rasha, Black Hole, Archon and Manald Heal all add up to the HUGE DAMAGE OUTPUT.

However, you are sacrificing speed for the power.

Using the Obsidian ring - you are in Archon form 99% of the time, while COE you have to time everything precisely and only have that huge damage output for like 8 seconds.

IMO - I use the Obsidian builds until I get all the perfect pieces to finally run the COE build. COE sucks balls if it isn't perfect - Max CDR on all gear is a must because if that doesn't synch up you may as well just play another game :P

No other gear can be a set other than the two rings.

For every piece that's Ancient you will get a boost.

Now - since each piece is Unique, you want to have pieces that have abilities build into them - i.e. Nemesis Bracers - activating a pylon will summon an Elite pack. You just need to put together pieces that work well together. So using random gear is not going to cut it.

posted a message on why primals are so bad?

    Season 10 - first 10 Primals weren't even for the character/class I was using.

Yeah, kinda lame how RNG it is. Should at least get them for the character/class you are using first! Doesn't even have to be for that build, but at least if you're using a Wizard have Primals a Wizard can use, not Barb's or WD, etc.

Season 11, I've gotten about 3 so far with the same issue :( Beat GR 70 at Paragon 450. I'm 711 now and still nothing worth using.

Yes, you want as much CDR on all your gear, getting as close to 60% (at least 64% for COE Lightning Archon - but that's a whole different setup for now).

With Gogok and Obsidian you want to be out of Archon as little as possible. 3-5 seconds at most. While out of Archon your only goal is to apply the 3 elements and use Ray of Frost (or some mana (best is the Arcane Torrent, but doesn't work well with Hydras as that as they use the lightning element) spending ability to proc Obsidian) to get back to archon. Once you pop Archon (the 4th element) it'll trigger Tal Rasha's huge damage boost.

Rinse and repeat - since you want to try to be out of Archon for just a few seconds, the Archon stacks via The Swami's ability, and you'll have double the stacks.

So again yes, CDR is a MUST!

posted a message on Noob needs advice for current season

IMO - teleporting can be a great defense. If you can move fast enough and know where to dodge attacks, it can help out a lot. So on that note I like to use Aether Walker and Serpent's Sparker.

Equip your better one and cube the other. Main attack is Ray of Frost-Cold Blood (Cold), Teleport-Calamity (Arcane), Hydras-Lightning (Lightning), and Archon-Combustion (Fire).

I put out two Hydras, and teleport around to dodge, while using Ray of Frost to speed up the cooldowns. Once archon is ready to go, you can deploy two more hydras to refresh their timers (how long they can be up) before popping archon.

There are alt builds that replace Teleport with Black hole, which can give you great amount of damage multipliers ontop of manald heal and tal rasha. But with a build this squishy I prefer Teleporting around.

Also to remember - make sure your highest elemental damage is Lightning (usually the bracers have this skill - don't waste it on re-rolling on the amulet). As that is what element will be used when in Archon form.

No, but you'll have to close the lobby and make a new one to replay it.

posted a message on Consoles - One bug for another

Ugh, so to fix the duping bug, it created another bug!!! The bug fix was that once you leave the area, anything that was on the ground disappears.

For example, when you finish a rift, find out that your blood shards is maxed out, you'll teleport back to town, spend them to make room and then teleport back to the rift only to see that the ones you couldn't pick up are no longer there!!

So take note - before you run a rift/Greater Rift, make sure you are not near or maxed out on blood shards!

Thanks for all the feedback! I honestly didn't know they had cheat gear ;-; that does kinda suck... so what kind of stat ranges am I looking for then? Clearly it won't be anything that ridiculous

I´m not sure how/if it works for consoles. But you should see on the Items how high the stats can be. They are usually the same for all items per slot.
Yes, but when it's modded, those numbers change as well.

and thanks for the info regarding where I can get those mats, it was driving me nuts!!!

And what when I get there, what sort of GR.lvl do most legit players run. I know part of it already has but I want the rest of my game experience to be legit because me and my girlfriend play together and she doesn't like that sort of thing because it obviously ruins the experience.

Thanks for spending time to reply! Really cool there's a place like this and get positive feed back from other players so fast!

Depending on the group. It's very hard to push Solo and compare it to PC. You just can't compare them equally. Consoles MUST use the Nephalam Globes just to be near on par with the damage output.
But on that note - I usually see GR75 as a sweet spot for high end players to speed rift with no probs. A big jump happens at GR80 and then again at GR90 (but usually they've got all ancients if not Primal with augmented gear). With perfect rolls and high augmented gear you can push GR100+. But it's really hard solo. If you get a proper group it'll be much easier as you'll have support and such.
However, if you're playing in a random lobby, I'd say stay away from T13 (nothing but modders there, you'll be extremely lucky to find legit) and usually TX will have more legit players. However, that's usually around GR45-50 range.

Yeah I don't get why Modders play on anything less than T13. What's the point? Get OP'd gear to run low rifts?

I dont get why they play with Pugs at all. Cheating and Modding in Public Multiplayer games has no Place in my Opinion.
There should just be a separate lobby. Can't wait for Season 11!....

If you wanna run low rifts for whatever reason, make your own game. Don't join other people's games - especially if the rest of the lobby is running legit gear. JUST LEAVE!! NO ONE WANTS YOU THERE. Go to the T13 with everyone else. If legit players really want to run GR150 they'll join T13 or look for modders.

Seriously, I don't care about modding in of itself, but when they do this stupid shit, it just irks everyone. Main reason why everyone is so annoyed. You just set yourselves up to look like trolls.

I've known plenty of cool modders and willing to help, but there's a ton of horrible modders who just don't get 'it'.
