Quote fromNo it does not. It can't lower it enough. It lowers resists, but it can't break a cold immune.
Anyway sure if you're level 97 with items given to you everything is fine and dandy, but I'm talking about a single player playthrough. When you reach hell what level would you be? 60ish?
I always managed to run into a monster that would break gameplay. Sure I can reload and it'll be gone or I can go back and grind, but I'm still having to avoid that monster by exiting the game.
ah k, i wasn't too sure about that one.
To me diablo was always a multiplayer game. I agree with you that single player is much much harder than bnet play simply due to the shortage of items available to you and also you dont have other players helping you. i still wouldnt mind seeing immunes just perhaps they can find a way where they dont have them on single player (or 1 player bnet games), however, when playing in a game with multiple players then they can start bringing some in which will then mean that you need to actually work as a team. Just my opinion tho. I also liked the fact how on bnet with more players in the game the more harder the monsters got and better chance of drops. that was possible in single player aswell if you type in /player 8 or something, dont remember.

i also dont like what has been said here. this is rarely the case (at least for me) and it sucks how a minority of pkers are ruining pvp for the rest of us. Diablos gone soft lol.

haha personally I think bots play a massive role in this low average. I know of such people who run as many as 24 bots 24/7 in private games, with each bot managing a couple hundred games each per day.

2) Diablo PVPing has always been an aspect of what truly made diablo what it is; uniquely bold and not watered down as most games of today are. How will you expand upon diablo2's pvp system without losing alot of the charm found in d2 pvp?
3) Some Fans seem concerned in regards to PK'ers joining public games and killing them when they're very low level. Instead of catering to only these concerned players and having 'mutual hosting in pvp', instead will a 'level hosting restriction' be implemented? Where players can host anyone same level or higher than them, however, can only host someone within 5-10 lvls below them without having to have a mutal agreement?
haha I didnt really word the last question very well but i think its pretty important.

1 hit kills were the best, they only 1 hit killed crappy players who deserved to die. lol jk
1 hit kills were because of runewords, not tps.

Totally agree. I don't really like most of the changes so far but I can easily live with them so I don't care that much. However!!!, with PVP they better not screw it up and make it heaps soft. If they screw up pvp im going to bomb the blizzard headquarters

I still think the checkpoint idea sounds just as easy. Isn't dying suppose to be something everyone avoids at all costs, but they just help you and take you to the last checkpoint.
I just hope they don't make d3 too easy, I want something beyond Hell mode

I rkn they should have included 'first time doing ubers' in there. I remember the first time i did uber trist i didnt plan it at all and used my summoner necro lol and ended up needing lots of help from friends who all also had chars that weren't suited to it lol ended up taking us a while but we got it done eventually lol.
also first time running into diablo clone is intense lol.
i remember one game i was trying to trade items and then got the soj count, got a friend to check the server and said it was hot so i waited in game. the soj count was going crazy and lots of ppl kept on joining wanting to trade and i kept on saying 'sold thx' really fast so they would leave then one guy joined and saw the soj count. so there it was, both of us in game with our smiters both hostiled each other and running around making tps at the first unique monster and trying to not let the other one know our location lol. this went on for a good 30mins then the msg came up 'diablo walks the earth' and it was on! most intense diablo moment for me lol

However despite saying that I have a solution to this for the people that seem to find this such a major problem. What we can do is keep the 1 person hostle function unless the person is just say 10 -15 lvls below you, then in which case both partys must agree to the hostle. So all players around your lvl and higher you can hostle without them agreeing and then all ppl below you must agree before you hostle them.

again im putting this down to bots n duping. Also lets not forget the sheer number of players on bnet so obviously lots of ppl will find them n trade them etc.
But just say if you're playing diablo on single player. you can play it for years without finding a "super elite unique".
Also the majoritiy of those really common uniques are worthless anyways and worth nothing.

Only reason theyre so common is due to people who have bots running 24/7 and duping. prevent hacks and then it will be good.

Personally i only use energy shield on my sorcs if im fully maxing it and telekeneses so i can put all my stats into mana. when i have a life build sorc n only 1 skill in es my mana drains way too fast.
