posted a message on System requirements
Memory is important, but I would say the more important aspects to running a game are your graphics card and your processor. I run a EVGA geforce 9800 GT, and I do just fine with 2gb's of ram. I run all of the games I play at max setting and I do just fine. Just make sure to have a good processor (at least core 2 duo) and a video card with 512 mb's of ram ( I suggest 9800 GT or higher, it only runs you about $90 these days). If you really have the dough, go out there and get the new gtx 470 or 480, newest nvidia cards. The Radeon HD 5870 is also a very nice cards, and for a single card setup it runs well.

    posted a message on Greetings!
Hello! My name is act_vi, I have posted here and there on the forums over the last few years, but never got around to making an intro thread. I am 20, from Washington state, and I love the Diablo series. I started playing Diablo at the age of nine, and have been addicted ever since. I have leveled a necro, barb, and sass to max level (before they deleted them for inactivity), and I plan on playing Diablo 3 when it comes out! I hope to contribute on many levels to the Diablofans community, so woohoo!

You know, Blizzard always has something up their sleeves, so I wouldn't rule it out. However, I think they are trying to reduce the amount of classes at first, giving cred to the post above me for suggesting an expansion class. Blizzard will definitely milk this cow.

I think they should auto-pickup, so you don't have all those gold looking crap around.

I think that stats are used to show how a specific talent effects your stats and stuff. Otherwise, it's there to show off!

posted a message on Blizzcon Computer
I am sure the first poster was referring to "lag" as graphical lag. The game was most likely being played on a local area network (LAN), and as to the systems they were playing on, I am not certain of the manufacturer. Blizzard can surely afford some nice gaming PC's, so let's assume that the demos were being played on top-of-the-line computers.

posted a message on Regarding D3 online play
I would not be surprised if they raised the level of characters in a game at once, as the environments are going to be a larger scale. The graphics engine is nice, but nothing a modern system can't handle.

posted a message on Who else thinks gold should be worth something in D3?
ExoditeTyr made a very good point in stating that there should be a balance in supply and demand with gold. I really do think that gold should be worth something, because it was basically pointless in Diablo Two once you get to a higher level. At the same time, I think that there should not be too much of an emphasis on gold because that would make it a central focus of the game (and personally, if I wanted gold to be a focus then I can play some games that already do that). It would be cool if the vendors in-town actually HAD some armor or weapons that is worth it to spend gold on. In the end, it's up to Blizzard to make the decision, so please make the right one!

posted a message on D3 Barbarian - which style first ?
I will probably go Berserker, or maybe Juggernaut. Not sure on how they will play, Berserker probably faster attack speed, Battlemaster will last longer (hence the shield), and the Juggernaut just swings a big axe :P .Whatever the case, I care more about seeing it come out soon!
