    I think D3 is darker and creepier than D2.
    Thats nice.

    I must have missed where the post mentioned diablo 2.

    You can hate it or like it as much as you want, you can't claim it's a bad game. L2R. Its what's been discussed in the last ten posts or so. Do I have to draw it for everyone? If you hate it - that is your problem. If you say the game sucks - it means you lack judgment.

    It's not that everyone who hates it is an idiot either. Just those who hate it to the extent where they believe they should let others know about it continuously. As if it makes their frustrations go away. But that's another thing. If you say it is a BAD GAME - then yes, you are an idiot.

    When comparing it to the other top mmorpgs out there... actually, yes you can.

    When comparing it to blizzard's normal caliber of game design and development, um... actually, yes you can.

    If you discredit someone chiefly because your argument doesnt match theirs... they aren't the one who's the idiot.

    If ive heard nothing about the book, i judge the cover to see if it looks worth picking up, and then look to the inside. I dont have time to waste on crappy looking books. :P

    I should have said title too. The title goes along with judging the cover.

    theres alot of books out there, i dont have time to judge every book by the content. If ive heard nothing about the book, i judge the cover(edit: and title!) to see if it looks worth picking up, and then look to the inside. I dont have time to waste on crappy looking books. :P

    Judging a book by its cover is highly underrated.

    I was under the impression that they said they wouldn't make it darker, and that they "didn't", but rather that there are some darker areas we hadnt seen yet.

    Wow, I saw the logo and thought it was kinda funny... but I assumed a fan did it.

    The fact that thats how blizzard is choosing to respond to their fans is F'd up, with a capital f.

    They're basically telling the people who helped blizzard get established in its days of pre-warcraft 3 to screw off.
    Thanks for the love blizzard.

    I only disagree with the jails, catacombs, and sewers... maybe im weird... but those were some of my favs in d1 and d2.

    And trapping the stupid monsters behind bars to pelt them with spells and arrows was personally always a pleasure.

    Im going to have to agree for the most part.

    The style itself actually doesnt bother me. I think it is a well done style, but not for diablo.

    this sint diablo 2. its diablo 3. get used to it.

    I mean maybe im crazy, but...

    Um... just as diablo 2 is the diablo 2 of diablo;
    isnt diablo 3 the diablo 2 of diablo 2 and the diablo 3 of the original diablo;
    I mean, thats kind of how a series works, right?

    It looks significantly better... although there is some arbitrary lighting still. It reminds me of a combination of old school disney movies and D&D titles like baldurs gate: dark alliance.

    I wonder if the game will have cutscenes like that... itd be nice.
