That Cobalt SS is a sweet deal if I ever saw one. It's a pity that Chevrolet's mexican line of models so greatly differs from the one that's offered in USA, we get mostly GM's european cars, no Cobalt SS to be seen. Most likely I would have to go down the importation route...
A little question: It runs on regular or on premium?
Actually no, but now I have your attention. Sorry for the deception.
I have already made a couple of posts in these forums, but for the sake of netiquette and politeness here I pester you with my introduction thread, I swear I'm not always like this, usually I'm worse. On to the little facts, then:
My name is Carlos Izquierdo in the language of Cervantes (that would be Charles Left in the language of Shakespeare) and I currently reside in Comala, a small town located in the southwestern state of Colima, located in Mexico.
In ages past I was a vicious gamer, but some little things like studying to become a lawyer and that silly and bothersome concept called "social life" put an end to that. However, I still play exceptional games like Diablo II from time to time...
Since I am not fond of biographies, this post comes to an end like right now , but I hope I'll get to know many an interesting human being here... See ya on the forums, the invasion begins! (Muajajajajaja)
I trust by Indian you mean South American Native. Alkor is the only indian in Kurast. Kurast itself is modeled on the jungle pyramid cities of Central and South America.
Yup, the Aztec and Mayan influences stand out in Kurast, you can see they took details from Tenochtitlan (Kurast Causeway) and Chichén Itzá, for example.
Oh, and about Abd Al-Hazir, I see more of a hint towards the Lovecraft character named Abdul Alhazred, a mad scholar credited with the Necronomicon and assassinated by invisible demons at daylight.
I did it on purpose, since I believe that would be the kind of material suitable for an expansion, and frankly, I wanted to get some sleep real bad. I suppose we'll see a much greater involvement of Heaven in the affairs of Sanctuary, but to actually visit it is another thing entirely.:) Anyways, I don't deny that a trip to Heaven (preferably under SIEGE) would be kickass.
There is a high possibility one of the new classes wil hail from Xiansai, so maybe an asian stereotype class wouldn't be a rare sight. A ninja replacing the assain, or a warrior based on dexterity rather than strenght ( a la Blademaster from WCIII). The monk suggestion may be possible too, but a class that fights bare handed wouldn'd be that popular in loot heavy Diablo. Most people want a cool weapon! =)
I think it would be somewhat fitting to have to venture into the fiery hole that was left by the asteroid where Mt. Arreat once stood.
A return to what we once knew, corrupted and mangled almost unrecognizable.
Perhaps there would be tiny shards of Worldstone glittering in the dirt?
Asteroid? It was the destruction of the Worldstone by Tyrael that left that massive crater, most likely. The mountain was destroyed from within, not by an exterior force. And now that we discuss that area of Sanctuary, I remembered one NPC, that I would also like to see return: Anya, now wisened by the years and embittered by the razing of her homeland.
It would be way cooler if they did something to punish the critter killers, like the 50th bunny you killed transformed into a huge ass demon and one ups you. Something like RE4 for example, if you start shoting the lake, in a set amount of time Del Lago comes out and devours you whole.
We have been shown a tiny bit of the game, for all we know, maybe the remainder is all darkness, pools of blood and fiery fire pits. Too early to make any judgements. What if they pull a Guild Wars type plot device and suddenly every enviroment is torn by the raging war across all of Sanctuary?
And thats when I play solo and vendor all guns and gun related items.
Guns will just ruin Diablo for me.
To be honest I also woulnd't like guns in Diablo III, but the prospect of a Blizzard April Fool's joke complete with AK-47, Colt Phyton and a Remington shotgun as attainable loot is maniacally fun.
My knowledge of the lore is quite liimited, but in the Diablo universe many things seem possible. A nearly immortal mage wouldn't be a big deal. =) Or I just tought, the shadow within Ormus that Natalya taks about could be of demonic origin... Theorizing fascinates me! Anyways, also more background lore about Skatsim would be welcome.
It could be a shot in the dark but, wouldn't it be awesome if Ormus turned to be a survivor of the Mage Clan Wars? That'll explain why Natalya has suspicions about him
