I played D3 on the xbox and it does control much better than the PC. It just feels natural and my hands don't get fatigued like they do using the mouse.
Still, I can't see myself spending an extra $60 to play more or less the exact same game.

Sep 29, 2013Ryude posted a message on AH Update, Blizzard Working on Cinematic Auto-Skipping, Book of Tyrael at NY Comic Con, Curse Weekly RoundupI find the lack of cross-act waypoint travel even worse than the cinematics and they haven't even acknowledged that as an issue. In relation to this, bosses should not disappear if you're playing a quest that is after that boss. Like in D2 and D1, bosses remained no matter what quest or act you were in.Posted in: News

Well, I never leveled a wizard for 6+ months because my main was already 100 and I didn't want to spend 0-70 paragon getting nearly no drops So there's me!Quote from MrZellian
I don't think I like the shared paragon feature...to me paragon is also an indicator of how much time and effort I put into that character and that's why I love the no cap feature, but starting a new character that I might delete after 2 hours and have him have the same paragon level as my main is kinda meh.
I get the whole "it will encourage you to start new characters more easily" but honestly I don't think it will, I don't think I know of anyone that wanted to start a new char and didn't because he would need to gain all paragon levels from the start...but that's just me.
I think I get where both of you are coming from. On one hand I love the MF/GF of paragon 100, but I also don't want to make a new character if I've already got 500 Paragon levels with my main(s). The real reason is likely due to the fact that we have no skill trees anymore, nothing to experiment with and see if it would work better than the last time I played that class. -

Currently, from our Paragon datamined bonuses, Magic Find and Gold Pickup appear there. Can't say I see Gold Find.
Makes sense, gold would be less desired without an AH. -

What happens to the stats we already earned with every paragon lvl ( "core stats" +mf/gf ) ? will they be removed?
thats a total of 700 attributes(+mf/gf), you cant even cover that with 100 paragon points of the new system(+5 stats every lvl).
if we can keep these stats, can a new player still obtain the stats since there is the new system?
will you still get fixed stats with every lvl?
i'm confused, pls help me understand^^
The difference is that you can place those points into whichever stats you want. So instead of having useless Dex on a barbarian, you can put those Dex points into Str/Vit and get a lot more value for your levels. -

The removal of the Auction Houses was critical to ensure the game improves. No matter how fun the item hunt gets with Loot 2.0, if AH was to stay, the market would adjust to keep being more efficient than getting the gear yourself.
This will probably "help" the online black market being once again the best way to go for the best items, but the thing is, back in Diablo 2, it was a very thin minority that used d2jsp unlike the AH on Diablo 3.
While that is true, I think Blizzard found that the bots were trimming their margins so much that it wasn't worth the hassle anymore dealing with real money. They have to pay the CS and other fees. There's a lot of stuff they have to pay for just to let us buy and sell items for real money. So while it is indeed for the best of the game, it probably was not the only reason. They may have actually been losing money just to keep the RMAH. -

Stock up on gold now, I have a feeling crafts and enchants won't be cheap in the expansion. With no AH to sell items for gold or buy gold, it will take a long time to farm gold. With that said, I'm going to stockpile as much as I can
Not saying this is going to happen, but what if they did a complete reset with RoS. Meaning a new ladder season at the start of the expansion. It would be the only way to give D3 a complete fresh start. So all that gold would be non-ladder, which isn't a bad thing, but everyone knows ladder is where it is at.
Well we can guess at what might happen, but I can tell you what will happen. You won't be able to buy gold anymore (except 3rd party), you won't be able to sell an item for millions of gold easily (3rd party isn't easy), and they have already said that enchantments will have a significant cost associated with them.
This also means, craft materials such as tomes of secret will be much harder to come by. Stockpile now if you don't want to be surprised. -

With the announcement of the AH shutting down, you have 30 days from this day to get a refund for Diablo 3. Once you click the Accept button on the agreement, you cannot get the refund. -

EDIT: I have to mention, MOST awesome items ingame in RoS are going to be soulbound so trading will just cut down in general.
Nope, with the removal of the AH there's no need for BoA anymore. Many people (including me and all of my friends) will not use any dodgy 3rd party trading sites. With the "in your face" trading system absent, I'm officially completely back to self-found, finally.
Yep, I can see them ultimately deciding to either making everything BoA or removing the AH. I'm glad they decided on the latter. -

Only for Barbarian's and Wizard's. The other classes will play pretty much the same builds.

Barbarians were hilariously OP, they need to do something to make all the classes balanced.

I mean you can pick apart any game. Even Diablo 3 after the expansion will very likely have issues that were there from day 1. You gotta look at it as a whole.
Will Thorns damage ever be worth using?
Will there ever be team deathmatch?

I agreed with you until you said that Borderlands had completely broken elements, known for not patching and addressing game isssues. That's like the complete opposite of what Borderlands 2 is known for.

Random, but still not as random as Diablo 2. If it truly is random like D2, then expect no one to play any act except 5.

Soon = 2 weeks before Expansion

Yea, but I don't want to get my hopes up. I'll just believe that only living characters xp will be counted, that way I won't be disappointed if they announce dead characters xp doesn't count.

You have to download DreamScene, then download the link in the youtube video, then use DreamScene to set it.
I'm too lazy for all that, I'll just settle for static wallpaper
