    This is likely why the game got changed so drastically since 2008. They decided they wanted to enter the console market and that requires dumbing down the controls as well as no skill trees since console gamers can't handle making mistakes.

    Oh yea, 2009 was when Activision bought them out :D

    There is no effect. The experience bonus only applies to level 60 (paragon) characters in Inferno.

    Blizzard wanted to remove damage output from skills and place it on the items themselves. The fact that you can hypothetically never find a perfect item means you'll always be wanting to upgrade, which eventually means you will think about spending real money. Everything was done for a reason, I think we all know why.

    In my opinion, the AH is a good idea that fails due to poor implementation of item systems. Far too many times I have found a quadfecta item with horrible low rolls, making the item useless. In D2, even if you found a low roll item it would still be useful. ANY ARPG should not have random rolls so many times that just to find an upgrade requires the alignment of the stars. Thus, the AH seems like the problem when in fact it isn't.

    Not even close. Your crit damage is abysmal and you lack both attack speed and average damage. Your intelligence is above average at best and there's nothing else worth looking at besides great crit chance and all resist.

    Probably a combination of viewing angle, zoom, shader and particle fx, as well as polygon count + texture detail. Over time I'm sure they lowered the graphics in order to run on low end PCs.

    • Ladders to climb up and down on.
    • Boss Hero-Death animations.
    • These areas "Forgotten Tomb" does not exist and "Leorics Highland" changed much.

    • Hovering healthbar on each and every enemy only visable while hover mouse on them

    • Number 5 "Scroll of townportal / identify" was scraped.

    • Minor Energy Rune and Elixir of Vitalty do not appear in Diablo 3 at all (see around 04:22).
    • Inaccessable gaps wouldn't work at all since not all classes could pass them. Animation was pre-fixed. Just like the death-animation on the siege breaker.
    • Girls dancing before they explode just to be summoned into a mini-boss, which just became normal monster later on.
    • And many other things!
    • Elemental damage actually mattered, frost slowed and had a chance to freeze on hit. Certain enemies had resistances to certain elements, requiring you to use your brain.
