no way...id love to see druid, but focus more on the elemental side of a druid. if you ask me, druid should be able to use all the elements- earth, wind, water, and fire. i think the druid should take over from the sorc
what do you think the experience rate and leveling pace will be in d3? do you think it will be a easy to level like d2, or long and tedious to level like WoW?
i like the concept, but it would be cooler if when you saw a monster, you would use a certain ability on it. then you would go to the town and talk to cain, and he would tell you what the monster is and give you a little lore on the monster, how to kill, origins, etc.
i very much like this idea!
how bout you spec them in their normal tree, and use like a separate set of macros to use their abilities. however, they would have to have a pretty low damage rate, and certain skills would be taken away.
heres an idea... why not have a set auction game? sorta like WoW, but not. see, the auction would be a trade auction. you wouldn't pay for items with gold, you would pay with items. "player 1" would go to the auction and look for an item he wants. "player 2" has the item for trade, and would make a brief description of what he wants for it. for example, "i need a WD wand that has skill bonus to locus swarm." player 1 would see if he has anything, and if he does, he would contact player 2 and ask if he wants the wand player 1 has. if player 2 does, they would meet at the auction game and trade items. and if player 2 was offline, player 1 would leave him a text that would contact him when player 2 got back on. that way, instead of having a hundred "need hoto" games, or a million "TRADE" games, there would just be one, easy to browse auction game, where the seller does not even have to be present! please give feedback and tell me what you think
make soketing alot more usefull and wanted, thus creating a moneysink, since you want your gear to have those sockets.
transphering the magica altributes of all but uniqe atrifacts onto other artifacts with a different look. For those that want a cool look of the char, but still want to be able to survive.
mana and health potions are not droppable, only buyable
skills are bought, not klicked in
will edit with more as soon as I have been to the toilet
no dropped potions? sounds like what blizzard is trying not to do! they want a faster game pace. why did they make health orbs? having to go to town to buy potions would make the game slow and tedious
ok, having bought skills? sounds lame and hackable. that would bring back the whole "gold farming" incident brought on by WoW. low levels would just buy gold from a farmer and get all his skills. sorry, but i dont like the idea at all
let gold sink, but dont make having gold too necessary! remember, this is diablo, not WoW.
how about a druid that cannot shapeshift, but has a more diversal attacks, instead of just fire and wind, how about fire, water, earth, wind? just a thought. it could also be a sorc, because we are yet to see one of those. i was a great druid fan, and i would love to see a more elementally focused druid class. bring back hurricane!
sounds cool! i like the concept, but why not make it more diverse? how about a magic circle that when an entity walks across, they get a 10% damage buff! that way, players could use it to their advantage, or the enemies could take control and they would get the buff, that way it could work either way, sorta a gamble.
thats a very good point, but i think the point is that you have to spec and gear so that you dont face that problem. that way your not a one way character that just uses one move
