i would like to see a quest where you have to battle monsters for like 10minutes while you wait for back up. no going to town, just a total blood bath to see if you can survive the onslaught.

posted a message on What Class will Blizz Nerf?
its been consistent with most of Blizzards games that right at it's release, the best class is always nerfed so hard that it is now the worst class. of the released classes, which do you think is the most likely to be nerfed?

posted a message on Diablo 3 Death Mechanic and Town Portal
awesome news... even though going to town anytime made things a lot easier, it took a bit of the game away. whenever you were in a tight spot, you could just pop up a town portal and go grab some more potions or whatever. i like the idea blizz

posted a message on Spell Quests
ok so here's the idea... i kinda thought that in diablo 2, you kinda just magically learned the spells. thats fine, but i would like to see some of the better skills actually require a quest to get them. but it would work off of blizzards "random quest" idea. you would be in Tristram, and then, i dunno...you would find a book that tells you about a great sorceres that aquired a great power (it could be the sorceres from d2, heh) and you can go on this quest to try and find the sorceres and learn some cool new skill. give me your feedback plz

posted a message on Hellish Suggestions for D3
i would like to see boss battles not just be a hack n slash fight of you spamming potions. boss fights should have a lot more twists and turn, like you can only hurt their back, or when they die, a hundred little demons explode from their stomach.

about hell difficulty? i would like to see it just total killing frenzy. blizzard says they want a good single player, but i think that hell should be extremely difficult to complete unless you have a few friends with you.

posted a message on Loot System / Town
these 2 topics go together, so just read the text.

personally, i loved and hated the loot system in d2. on the good side, when you were playing alone it was easy to grab your loot and move to the next pack of monsters. on the bad side, when you were with 5 other people, they would steal stuff that you obviously needed.

now thats not to say i want a WoW system of looting. it took way too long to loot and the pace was slow. d3 should be sorta a mix of the 2.

SO HERE IT IS - on frequent loots, (like gold, waste armor, potions, etc) it should be like group loot in WoW. thats where everyone takes turn looting(but the loot still drops on the ground) so every other monster that is killed, only YOU can see the armor that flies out of the monsters belly, so only YOU could take those loots. same goes the other way with you party. but on rare, unique, and rune drops, it would be like a need before greed style of looting like in WoW. thats where the item pops up on your screen and you "roll" for the item.

however, in WoW, if you obviously stole an item you didn't need, or ninja-ing, word would spread and people would shun you. the problem with d2 was that there was so many different characters and games, you sometimes never saw the person again. but in WoW, what with major cities and shared towns, you would eventually see that damn ninja again.

so how about towns like in Hellgate? they were crappy and really claustrophobic, but it would be like WoW cities - huge and open. the town would be where you would spawn when you logged in, and then you would open a window and create a game, like battle net. that way you could mingle and interact with people easily.

so in summary, LOOTING SYSTEM - shared with need before greed style.
TOWNS - large cities that everyone spawned in and where you would mingle, interact, and where you would created seperate, private games

posted a message on unlimited playing
in diablo 2, you would spend not very much time to finish a difficulty, and then when you "beat" the game you would start doing baal runs, and uber tristram. the game kinda stopped there.
but in WoW, there was no limit to the game really. it was designed to last a long time, and i think that is because of the lack of storyline. no total storyline is good, because you don't have to make an end. this made WoW extremely fun to play even after months of being lvl 60/70. what with new dungeons, arena armor, and expansions, the game didnt stop. that was the problem with d2. it got extremely boring, and when you wanted to make a new character, the process repeated. there was no races like in WoW, so we all started in the same town, had the same quests, same bosses to kill, blah blah blah. there was only one path you could go to finish the game. in WoW, you could lvl wherever you wanted. it kept the game new and exciting. plus, there was no random drops. you did a dungeon with something specific in mind, which made the game less random and repetitive.
i think that diablo 3 should be like WoW in this way, so its a lot harder to get bored.
