The question IS, why the hell wouldnt you play multiplayer lol?
My experience on battle.net was a joyfull one. Maybe I just got lucky... But I only ever ran into someone instant boss killing or PKing a cuple of times. Trading with people was very fun for me. Leveling with other people was fun for me. PVP was fun for me.
There obviously going to have new features to make it so people cant do random gayness, like boss killing w/o the group. or PKing. Or not grouping and kill stealing. Well you would figure that from there experience with diablo 2...
You can always play single player online, just make a game and password it if you really just dont like multiplayer for some reason of which I have no idea. Then you have the option of playing with other people or not. Instead of just making a single player character. The game will definitly be the same on multiplayer as with singleplayer quests. Diablo 2 was, why wouldnt diablo 3 be, especially if there encouraging online play.
So basically. Why the hell wouldnt you play multiplayer lol?

Jul 17, 2008shelledfade posted a message on Diablo III PK and PvPPVP should stay as it was in diablo 3. Being able to make a custom game with the name "PVP 1" or something related, worked fine. You could make whatever teams you wanted in the game or pick a new place to fight at when ever you wanted to. The thought of arena's in diablo doesn't sit well with my stomach. As for PKing, I would say they already had good enough systems in diablo 2. Level restriction games, or find players that are friendly to private game with, if your IRL friends were not on or did not play diablo. The only thing they should fix with the system is TP PK. Easy solution is once you go hostile all your spells you just cast go null/void for 3 to 5 seconds when you select hostile. That to me is the only thing that needs fixing, everything else worked fine in diablo 2.Posted in: News

Jul 17, 2008shelledfade posted a message on Diablo III Trade and EconomyI think it would not be bad if you could use gold to trade with. I meen, bound items will most likely stay quest related. Like Quest rewards or quest specific items. I dont see anything wrong from my perspective of being able to still trade ITEM vs ITEM or maybe GOLD vs ITEM this time around. Also brings up the option of trading GOLD+ITEM vs ITEM. So to me it makes sense. :thumbsup:Posted in: News

Jul 17, 2008shelledfade posted a message on Blizzard: Why Corpses VanishYeah I guess it might be a bit laggy with all the corpses. Especially now that there will most likely be a lot more monsters coming at you in diablo 3 than pervious diablo games. But there should be some chunks of meat or something on the ground that stay for a bit after you kill them. I meen even the mini-boss (the summoned guy) and the end mini-boss at the end of the video also vanished quickly. Hopefully they leave a little something in to look at in the finished product .Posted in: News

Seriously though. More grit. More detail. More hunch. Less muppet-like.
