The monk looks awesome. I wanted to see a character that was similar to a pally and we got him. He looks like a pally crossed with a assassin. To all the people complaining about the pally type class coming in the game... they must of got sick of getting pwned by pallies in Diablo 2.
They need classes similar to all the old ones so all the old players of the old ones will be pleased.
The monk is not overdone either. I only played a few mmo that they have a monk in.
Whoever said Monks dont punch and that would make him a ninja is dead wrong. Ninja use Katana and throwing stars and in most games Monks punch. Go play Final Fantasy Tactics and look at the difference between monk and ninja... Monk punch and ninjas use weapons.
I love how he can use his fists and hes holy as well. I am just hoping they give him Fist of the heavens type move and all will be awesome :).
FOH really should make a appearance. -

They had to go and change it sooooo much. They are already taking away + skills? No more SOJ? Thats insane... I dont know how well this will work.
I think we should let them do their work though, its Blizzard I have confidence they will work something out. -

Only because if you think about it most of the builds in Diablo 2 you ended up pumping most of your points into vitality anyways. -

I don't think there will be any bunny killing in that. Then again, the pony could step on the bunnies and crush their spinal columns with red blood and gore spraying all over the pink mane of the pony. Now that would be a pretty sight.

I wonder if they are ever going to address the issue of cheating on consoles because i have it for xbox one and its plagued by dupers and modders. How much farther ahead is the pc version?

I am sure people will find a way to make it competitive and Diablo 2 the characters were pretty balanced but the items were not (Enigma, Elemental Absorb, Etc,...)
I still have faith that blizzard will not mess this up, if they mess this up they will lose so many people because the diablo fanbase is huge and people have been waiting for way to long.
Lets hope they dont pull a Duke Nukem (heard it was bad).

People are saying Diablo 2 didnt have good PVP but it was better than WOW.
Diablo 2 PVP was a hidden gem. You had to be really into the game and know a lot about the mechanics to make a actual good PVP character and there was even clans. It just was as someone had stated earlier that the PVP communities were more underground.
You had to know where to look but the PVP in Diablo 2 was intense. I loved how you could just go anywhere and fight but a arena is a good idea.
I dont mind the aspect of a arena but the PVP needs to be as good as Diablo 2 or its gonna suck.
The only bad thing really about PVP in Diablo 2 was the absorb... being able to absorb elemental damage made sorc suck, especially piled on with the fact everyone could teleport.
Anyways the game is going to suck in the end if PVP is no good. I have faith in Blizzard but I just dont want them to go straight PVE because that is a horrible idea.
