Quote fromThat suggestion no offense its totally pointless . If u don`t want to hear the music from diablo u just go into options and check the sound off and run winamp in the back ground, and use alt +tab if u want to change to a specific sound.
But half of the experience in diablo is the music,i don`t know why any one would like to change that.
The music loses its luster after a month or two. In my opinion after you have played through the story all the way through, the music has done its job...triggering emotion and foreshadowing events. Foreshadowing loses its point the second time around and emotion in a game fades over time. But yes there are several reasons Blizzard shouldn't bother incorporating this as there are already easy ways to get around it. I just hope they make it so you don't have to go in a game to shut the sound off and that you can have it off in the chat channels as well.
