Or not eh?...sorry I don't know about you but Ocarina of Time set the bar for a lot of games if you ask me. It totally raised the industry standard, same with Golden eye 64.

I think it is a great idea. I also can't help but think of Zelda: Ocarina of Time though lol, I remember being in Hyrul and at night different NPC's would appear on a a set schedule, skeletons would come out of the ground...man I miss those days, talk about a world that just made you totally feel like you wanted to be there.

posted a message on Ok guys this is some important news about Imperius.
Ok guys so here it is, I have been posting on the thread -Is Imperius the true threat to sanctuary?- Basically the whole thread you will see, was about the discussion of the possibilities of the angel shown in the D3 artwork with the symbol resembeling a sword on his chest being Imperius. The second thing that was really questioned was what did Mr. Knaak mean by upturned sword when he described Imperius in the book? So to try and help with these two very important topics I chose to do something a little out of the ordinary, I wrote Mr. Knaak to get to the bottom of this. Here is what I said On Jul 23, 2008, at 10:43 PM, Eric wrote:
Hello Mr. Knaak, I am a member of www.diablofans.com...recently there has been a huge discussion having to do with what exactly you ment when you described Imperius' upturned sword on his chest. I am writing to you to try to get to the bottom of how the sword should be shown on his chest. If the sword is upturned like you had wrote, should blade be pointing towards Imperius' head or should it be pointing towards his legs? Please get back to me on this there is a huge thread on this topic and I want to lay it to rest. thanks!

Well needless to say most thought he wouldn't respond but guess what guys he did, and here is what he had to say.

    Hi, Eric -

"Thanks for your interest. There are two distinct and, imho, contradictory definitions for 'upturned'. In this case, I went with the definition that refers to an object turned business end up, such as 'an upturned nose'. This means the point of the sword would be toward the head. Based on conversations with Blizzard in the past, they see it the same way."

    I hope that helps!

    Richard A. Knaak

So guys as you can see from this There are two things now to be concluded, either Blizzard messed up on the design of Imperius or that angel is not Imperius. If you are wondering why I did not post this on the thread by which the topics originated it is because I felt this was very, very, important and it deserved it's own distinction as a thread.

    Kletus Cassidy?
Cledus Cassidy is the name of the guy that turns into carnage in spider-man.

Carnage from Spiderman comes to mind first and foremost. After that.. hellish destruction.
Agreed...when I think of the word carnage I think of the one from spider-man also. When the holocaust comes to mind, the word carnage isn't the first word I think of. I think of the words genocide, massacre, torture, emaciation, etc.

Why hasn't that rat at the bottom of the 'crater' been discussed yet?

That noise is way too loud - rats would be long gone, or at least not in a photo that common sense tells you is immediately or soon after the impact.

That rat is significant. It isn't in a close-up for no reason.

    Thoughts?
80% percent drop out rate. Ring the bell!!!!!!!!!!!

posted a message on Φ Imperius - The true threat to Sanctuary?
Here Sparks, read this, I posted it earlier on this thread but I guess you missed it...tell me what you think-I agree with you sparks, on that of which the event at which all this happens may not be in the correct sequences exactly. I think Tyrael might actually be there to either talk to cain or talk to both cain and leah. I have come to the conclusion that Leah is more than just Cain's "Nursemaid"....I think she either might be a relative, or a apprentice or a reletive that is Cain's apprentice...It would make sence for Cain to pass on his knowledge considering he is so old, who knows when he could kick the bucket. Maybe Cain knows his time to go is near? Let me know what you think...I know I am not a official blizz speculater but it sounds about right.

When I think of the word carnage I think of a fellow named Cledus Cassidy, who has been taken over by a symbiote much like venom, except he cannot control it as well as venom....therefore it makes him a total loose canon. That causes total chaos and destruction.

posted a message on Guilds/Clans in Diablo III
Yes apples I agree, I like the terminology of the word clan better. It embodies a group of people who are friends, team mates, and companions. With the word guild, none of those words come to mind. Now as far as the ability to represent your clan, I think there should be several ways to do so. One way being you could have the usual cloak and have your clan symbol on the back. Another way being you could have something like sashes, much like the cowboys in tombstone wore to represent there brotherhood. Another way would be to actually mark your armor with your symbol, as suggested earlier. Then there is one other way that I would love to use to represent my gaming peeps...I would love the ability to have a tattoo of my clans symbol on my character...to me, that would be the most bad ass way to represent your clan...even if you could not see it sometimes..the thought of being marked...hellz yeah!

I think it's something like that.

What I'm 100% confident in is Imperius casts Tyrael out of Heaven.
No I think it is more or so along the lines of Tyrael is already in the cathedral then Imperius is the meteor...then smashes through the cathedral ground and ascends out of the hole.
