I get descent pay...it could be better but I am happy for now. As far as the job specs, they usually want you to be at least a+ certified...but if you have a good knowledge of computers like me, then sometimes that is all it takes. The 9800 gx2 ranges any where from 280 to 450 dollars, it depends on the manufacturer whether it is PNY, BFG, EVGA, and etc. it just all depends....Now for the 8800 gt oc....it is about 180 dollars, give or take.

By the time I could find ONE gemshrine I could find about 10 or more gems of various quality and types, just from questing. OR if I really wanted gems I could do runs (even solo) and have a load more.
Exactly, that is how it pretty much was.

One would not think so, no.

One would be inclined to think a small chest spewing out hundreds of gold and items of magic and rare quality would be quite curios also.

Gem shrines were so rare that they did not really make it "easier" And sometimes you didn't even have a good gem to use with the shrine. So I think gem shrines are fine. Always liked getting them.

    Shrines in general are cool.
Thank you both, like I said earlier, gem shrines were few and far between..and even when you got one, it was usually of chipped gem quality..so you still had a lot of transmuting to do before you could really make it effective..so in the end it did not make the game easier.

I am a Geek Squad agent at best buy..I can tell you that there are two cards you should look into the Nvidia 9800 gx2, or the Nvidia 8800 gt oc.....the 9800 gx2 is the most powerful one on the market, and the 8800 is a good all around card especially if you get two and run them in SLI then you really got some power. I hope I helped you a little in making a decision.

I don't see how they're any more illogical than any of the other shrines, or anythign else in Diablo really.

I always thought of the shrines as magic conduits that either create a new gem through condensing magic, or empower a weaker gem through condensing more magic into it.

Gems in Diablo to me have always seemed like magic condensed, it explains why they have elemental properties etc etc.

    I could be wrong though.
..I agree, So it is illogical for me to get a gem from a shrine that creates it through a heavy concentration of magic..but I am able to use another shrine that also uses magic to make me immune to things like fire and and ice...hmm seems like that would give me more of an edge then the chipped gem.

Then there is no disagreement with the replacement of an illogical concept to that of a logical one.

With respect to my communication methods friend, perhaps one is in need of some perspective. By allowing myself to communicate in a way that is indifferent to the great multitude here, why that would be akin to having one orally release a ball of saliva into a great ocean. Indistinguishable and bland. Would one not not find it better to hold up a champagne glass containing sparkly fluids, and announce a toast far above said ocean?
The way you speak does not make you a step above anyone else here. So yes Hawk a big loogie into the ocean and wallow in it...then after you have come down from your high horse...feel free to treat yourself to a Slurpee and snap into a slim jim.

If the slaying of monsters pose no issues to oneself during the acquisition of gemstones, then one would also not expect it to pose any issues should one encounter them in a gem mine. Right?

Unless of course one harbors a hidden preference towards convenience more so than diligent effort?
To be straight forward with you...I enjoy a challenge in games more so then a lot of people, I have always been against cheats and anything that would make a game easier by user. Your talking to someone who as rightfully earned every level in any RPG, hack and slash etc. through and through...but if blizzard put it in the game then I figured why not use it...and by the way....lose the Yoda dialect, I assure you, that you are not that leet.

It would be better if gem shrines did not make a second appearance. The idea of having a rare stone given away as one would expect a candy vending machine or have a random stone in ones inventory upgraded, did not make much in the way of logical sense.

One would think it better to have players 'work' for their precious stones. In which case perhaps this would be what the developers had in mind when ordering a concept sketch of gem mines, dark places containing monsters one is required to dispatch before one is rewarded with one or more gems.
Gem shrines were few and far between...so getting a free gem every once and a while without having to dispatch a enemy was nice every once and a while, and to be completely honest with you I easily got about 2 gems average almost at a time when taking out a mob. So it is not like the shrines helped me to the point to where I thought, oh boy, I can't believe Blizzard put these in the game.

What is so important about whether that angel is Imperius or not? Did I miss something?
Well what is important about it is the fact that a lot of people were thinking that the angel that was shown in the artwork besides Tyrael was Imperius...a lot of people thought it was him because he had a symbol representing a sword on it...but after I wrote to Mr. Knaak...he said the blade should be pointing towards the head of imperius and you can clearly see that if that symbol is a sword, then it's blade is clearly facing down...hence it is either not Imperius or Blizz messed up on the artwork and the resaon it is important to know if it is him or not is because a lot of people including that Official specualtor fellow who wrote about D3's new plot thought the angel was Imperius. Hence the possibilitie of it not being him really leaves you to question who is the angel then?

Interesting. I was actually playing Ocarina of Time when I made this topic.
....Yea when I read your OP, my first thought was totally Ocarina of Time...I guess I might sound lame when i said the game almost made you wanna be there but if you ask me that is one of the most profound sings of a great game..for example Ocarina of Time, Golden Eye 64, and let's not forget Final Fantasy 7...I mean I don't know about anyone else, but I totally wanted to game it up in the Golden Saucer.
