Aug 6, 2009I highly doubt D3 will be released next year... they haven't even announced the other two classes... I would say the release date will be early-mid 2011. 2012 just seems to distant but for all we know it could be very possible (lets hope not..)Posted in: News & Announcements

Just kidding. I am guessing 08/08/08, blizzard loves mind games, and I wouldn't be surprised if they have finished the game already. The hype created was to...early in my eyes for full marketable capability in terms of how much they have shown us. I reckon they got a couple cards up their sleeves those wily *******'s. If I am wrong which I very well could be, I guess it will be sometime in early 2010 late 2009.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion

that would be ideal. Just double click the mini map and it goes to the old school style over the screen display. Really like that idea.

When you have a job that gives you 4 hours spare time an evening, with a girlfriend and guitar as a hobby it doesn't give you much gaming time unfortunately. I could always become single and give up guitar... uh oh better stop thinking about that...!
Yeah I played D2 and it was the one and only game I was ever *addicted* to (killed my high school grades!!!). And like all good addicts I have been suffering from withdrawal for several years now and need my fix of d3. I can't stop checking this fan site nor the D3 official site hoping that their will be some news of either classes, release dates, new content!!! Every spare moment of the day that I have (when I am not thinking about girls) I am thinking about diablo 3. . . it is sad.
Jul 10, 2008Posted in: Diablo III General DiscussionQuote from "Daemaro" »Uh the necromancer is actually one of the only classes with a true purpose of protecting Sanctuary.
That explains more about them.
was not talking about the necro, and i understand his situation and that he is a neutral char. But what about the minions he raises to fight against the the same demonic enemy.
Jul 10, 2008Posted in: Diablo III General DiscussionQuote from "Daemaro" »I'm just not for the idea of using demonic entities to combat demonic entities, I don't think the heroes of Diablo work like that really.
That's just me though.
Thats illogical, look at the necro, he raised demonic entities to fight against demonic entities. Not only that but just because its a demonic entitiy does not mean its on the same side as the demonic entities your fighting against. Perhaps its an entity that believes in the survival of the sanctuary.

Tolkein had no Asian cultures, (Rhun was considered middle-eastern) thus very few Middle-Earth imatations had Asian lands. This goes for Sanctuary. When ever they are introduced, it feels lame and non mythical. It takes out the medival feel and makes it ninja gaidenesque. Lame. If anyone played MTG, remember how lame Kamigawa was? I stopped playing then.
Keep Ninjas, Samuris, and all other asian references out of Sanctuary. Nothing racist, it's just not medival.
I disagree, ever played baldurs gate? wasn there a ninja or samurai, I found that he didn't ruin the fantasy feel back then why should it in diablo?

Also inventory should be bigger or backpacks brought in. Storage space could use an extra page. Charms should without a doubt all be one size small.
would hate to see WASD movement, sorry but i think it just dusn fit in diablo

Maybe he chose for his spirit to be altered into a sword so that he could continue to slay evil forever.
perhaps it could be some sort of item that you could place in sockets, giving your weapon a certain alignement/look and certain stats. ie. a holy spirit stone or a blood spirit stone.a little too much???

Jul 10, 2008perhaps level caps, and different possessed swords.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
Level caps as in a normal item of sword type X would only be allowed to level to 10. A Rare item of sword type X allowed to level until level 20 and a Unique sword type until 35 or what not. And other possessions could be angelic not just demonic and this could effect the look of the sword. Ie. an angelic sword would have wings on the hilts and strong white glow perhaps and the demonic possessions would have a dark red glow and skulls on the hilts. There could be many different looks just examples. This doesn't have to pertain only to swords it could be to all weapons, however I dont think it would work as well on other equipment, it just gets to confusing if all your gear is leveling up right?
