possible, but I also doubt that.Quote fromI think it's just a minion of Duriel.
I think that "_____ of Pain" is a title title given to the strongest living Arachnid type demon.
possible, but I also doubt that.Quote from "AcidReign" »I think it's just a minion of Duriel.
"Pain" isn't a household it's more like a title imo. And like I said physical features isnt a good argument, not everyone with the same/close features is blood related.Quote from "mahamoti" »The fact that she is clearly a boss, and her "household" is the same (pain), and her physical features are the same, are all strong evidence that she has a blood relation. Obviously this doesn't make it so, but it's not possible to be completely conclusive when speculating based on scattered tidbits of information.
o ok, nice argument. So I guess its safe to assume that all the fallen are blood related, and all the maggots are blood related and all the oblivion knights are blood related, etc.Quote from "Aerisot" »They are both Aracnids as well.
LOL... wow, you obviously dont know what you're talking about. The Necro was by far the best class to solo with from start to hell.Quote from "HARDCOREPOORE" »necros were absolute trash in d2...... the witch doc seems more like a druid then a necro to me
Quote from "mahamoti" »I thought about that, too -- because it could be that she was duriel's mistress, and mistress=lover. However, I rejected the idea as improbable, because I think they are trying to show us that there is a hereditary connection between them by giving her the same soft abdomen, slashing appendages, and spider-like legs as Duriel has. There is no reason for a random mistress of Duriel to have such a hereditary link. Also, there is no reason for a mistress to be particularly frightening or powerful..other than the fact that since he is a demon, we might expect his lover to also be a demon. But if it was his daughter or mother, that almost implicitly implies that she is a powerful demon.
the reason it took so long is because they scrapped 2 previous art directions and started from scratch. And the first time they stopped working on the game was when Blizzard North was released. That makes for a total of 3 times this project was stopped and restarted.Quote from "LordAbdo" »Here is some infos about d3 that i didnt know until today so i thought i should share them
1- Diablo 3 was developed by blizzard for 4 years
-so the rumor about "20% of diablo 3 is done" is probably wrong (if it is right then we
should w8 16 more years for the game to b released )
-the game should get released in less than a year ( 5 years of development is just too
much, espacially that blizzard has a staff of 3000 ppl)
yes you are overreacting. there will only be 5 playable classes in the initial release. This has been said time and time again by Jay Wilson in many interviews.Quote from "LordAbdo" »2- There will b more than 5 classes
-this was not said by anyone from blizzard, but at the 1 hour lead designer
panel(WWI,2008) when some woman asked the lead designer a question about the
other 3 classes, he corrected her question and told her: we didnt release
anything about the number of classes being 5 but there will deffinatly b
several more than 2
-i am pretty sure i am not over reacting there werel definatly many clues in this
sentence to suggest that biggest one is that he corrected her and the other is he
used the word "several" not "few"
as bashiok said "We haven't announced any final support for DirectX versions/system requirements. I'll say that right now we're not using any DirectX10 features, but we potentially could."Quote from "LordAbdo" »3-Diablo 3 will not require DirectX 10 to run. (Yey for me)
I agree with you thereQuote from "LordAbdo;347400 »4-The length of the game Diablo 3 will b near to the length of Diablo 2
I disagree with this... its not final yet, as a matter of fact, the current level cap is still 99, but it may be changed in the future. sourceQuote from "LordAbdo" »'> and the level cap will be 100 not 99
Yup they will.Quote from "LordAbdo" »-i guess they will make it longer afterwards by patches and expansions
they're still not shure about this actually and they wont be until the game is finished. And I could see micro transactions taking place for this game.Quote from "LordAbdo" »5-There will b no monthly fees
-The 1up interview with Rob Pardo
don't think you're going to see a subscription model in the realm of WOW.
It's a boxed product game, it will be more similar to say, the Diablo II or the
StarCraft II model.
-There is still a chance the will have monthly fees but the "no monthly fees" chance is
ok you're right Rob did mention that almost all classes are playable back at their main office, and that was back when the game was first announced, in the gamespot exclusive interview. But there's the argument that playable doesnt mean finished... I think its already been stated that they havent got all the skills for all the characters yet.Quote from "LordAbdo" »6-Many classes that werent shown to public r almost done
-The 1up interview with Rob Pardo
-We also wanted to show something new, and we argued quite a bit about
which class to focus on and show to the public. The Witch Doctor won out.
the whole "in a year" thing is wishfull thinking... I think a year and a half at its earliest.Quote from "LordAbdo" »-This definatly supports the suggestion of diablo 3 will b released in less than a year
(which could b even alot more less than a year)
If u have any new info that we might not know feel free to post it here.
Plz tell me if this thread helped u.
I have to disagree here.Quote from "JELL" »Still, a lot of people will be disapointed when the game ships, developers just can`t please everyone.
I absolutely agree with you.Quote from "NP-RandyWest" »It sucks that Blizzard always think so much about the random retard, but never about the skilled player.
