posted a message on Diablo III Thoughts From Ex-Blizzard Employee
I think that blizzard north would have done a superb job on Diablo III if they where they ones that completed the project.

I would also like to point out that, considering they didn't have a fraction of the funding they had available to them when they where working with blizzard, does not make them less creative or bad game developers. I believe that if with the right funding Hell Gate London would have been a big success, sadly though they where limited to what they could do, and they probably made a miracle happen with whatever funds they had.

If they still had the funding and backing of Blizzard I'm more than sure that we would all be playing their masterpiece(Diablo III) by now and loving every second of it.

At they very least I'm sure they would never have even thought "I wonder what would happen if we make a Fast Paced Action RPG version of WoW" - which sadly seems to be what was going on in the heads of the current developers when they where working on it.

I'm sure it can be toggled, don't you think?
    I hope so!!
I would be really disappointed if it wasnt.
I dont care how often I hit critical, I care less to know every time a monster blocks/dodges my hit.
another thing that bothered me was how the weapon info is displayed in the exact same format as the WoW weapons.

I really hope they atleast bring one person back from the Diablo II team to set these WoW heads straight.

It sucks that Blizzard always think so much about the random retard, but never about the skilled player.
    I absolutely agree with you.
The thing that made Diablo II sooo F*****G amazing was that it was very realistic and while the action is very amazing and fast paced and there was demons running around, it was still realistic, because, u can get scammed or robbed (dont say wtf just yet) I'm not saying that I enjoy getting scammed or robbed off of a good item, but I like the fact that, just like you could get robbed in real life, you can get robbed in the game, (not to mention that some scams where genius and I couldnt help but smile after the initial shock :D)

Second, while the government controls part of the economy IRL, its mostly the people, and business men that affect it and change it all the time. but in the era that Diablo was set in, I dont think the government played a major role in the economy, so It only makes sense that its controlled by the people who play the game.

Lastly, for all you people who like the WoW-like Art, Duel system, economy system, etc, etc. STICK TO YOUR GODDAMN WoW AND LEAVE DIABLO FOR US!!!
instead of telling me to stick to playing Diablo II, You stick to your WoW!! I want Diablo III to be a "Diablo" sequel not a fast paced WoW game.

Well the blue light could also be this angels wings.

yes it could if there was more blue to the fire ball... but there wasn't so to me it seems like the other angel, who could be Imperius, is more likely to be the one riding, or even being that meteor.
i think that the color of his wings fits in with the color of the meteor much more than tyrael's wings do.

I'm going to post the Images so you can compare them.

the meteor - to me it looks like clearly someone is riding it... but thats just me.

first impact - the blue lights... do they maybe look like the ones seen
on this guy... to me it does.

posted a message on Please, Blizzard, let there be a monthly fee.
monthly fees don't get rid of annoying 14 year old kids.
Take WoW for example, of the 10 million subscribers at least 80% of those are dumb annoying kids.

so no! i dont want Diablo III to be a pay to play game. I dont see a good reason for them to charge a monthly fee, other than ofcourse the profits they could muster up from it, but that would just make them greedy people.

you wowies come up with some corny ass ideas.
I wouldnt mind seeing my barbarian ride a horse in one of the cinematics, because i love horses and Blizz makes kick ass cinematics. but other than that I dont want to see anything, no weird class mounts, no dumb ponies. nothing.

posted a message on What about Rune Words
I definitely want to see runewords make a comeback in Diablo III.
for those of you bitching about it, it was only bad because of the amount of runes Duped and the fact that they where all over the place in numbers that shouldn't be.
but i doubt the new bnet will allow any duping to go on, so the rarer runewords will be truly rare and worth something. Imagine having an enigma in Diablo II if there was no duping going on it the game.
not to mention also how useful they where.

posted a message on World of Diablo
Wold of Sanctuary would be a better name for it. maybe have the game set in sanctuary which is over run by hell and stuff, and depending on what class u choose u start at their tribe's location and eventually.... wait nvm World of Diablo would sound amazing, especially if you could be on one of three sides.... the humans which have the different classes (barbs, sorcs, sins, etc.) the angels, a class u could only be in if ur qualified enough (like you have to do certain quests to become an angel (but you must start as a human race). theres also a hell minion (they could come up with tons of different classes for those).

posted a message on Guns in Diablo 3? Maybe?
I think that what ranim has put together are some excellent facts , and after reading it all I'd be surprised if at least preemptive cannons arent introduced. no one said you have to use guns, even if they do make an appearance It doesnt mean that they will make a class that uses them. maybe they will have some gun prototypes that are being used by some npcs or something.
