Agree. I'm just sooo tired of all the ridiculous changes and design choices they've made so far with Diablo 3. Seriously this is turning out to be worst than most Diablo clones out there. It seems to me that the current team of monkeys working on this game have no idea how to recreate the essence of the Diablo games but they're too deep in and too stubborn and proud to listen to the fans and change it.

The fact that they're giving out a free copy of Diablo 3 to anyone who signs up for a full year of WoW just goes to show that this game is nothing more than a marketing tool to get players reinvested in their shitty MMO.

I loved Diablo 1 and 2 and spent countless hours playing it with my friends. It was the franchise that got me into gaming and gave me the most memorable gaming moments ever, but thanks to the current team of monkeys working on Diablo 3 I know for a fact that I will not enjoy it nearly as much. They've basically butchered or completely removed every aspect of the Diablo games that made them so enjoyable in the first place.

Hey guys, just thought I'd let those of you who aren't aware know that there has been an "All time greatest game villain" contest going on at gamespot. Diablo the lord of terror was naturally one of the villains you could vote for and he has made it pretty far. Right now he is in the top 8 and is up against Darth Vader (someone who doesn't even deserve to be in this contest imho--not because he isn't badass, but because he's more of a movie villain) and sadly Diablo is loosing so far, but not by a lot so go vote for Diablo, and tell anyone you know to vote for him as well.

I still wouldn't rule micro fees out just yet.
I think it's more than likely we'll get micro fees for small things here and there.

I guess we'll have to test all character skills on all enemies if we want to see all death animations.

I bet people will still be seeing new death animations even after months of playing the game with this type of system.

Now, when will they release a real update on the Diablo III site?

what's up with all the server upgrades :confused: a bunch of other sites went down for a few hours and gave the same excuse.

so what exactly do you mean by server upgrades in this case?

the medieval setting has been over abused in MMOs and hasn't really worked out well yet so chances are low that Blizzard's next gen MMO will be a Diablo based one. A new IP is what I'm hoping for, but like it was mentioned above, Blizzard don't like gambling, so chances are low for a new IP as well. Making a Star Craft MMO makes a sense more so than anything else. I mean, knowing Blizzard, they didn't split SC II into a trilogy for no reason. they probably wanted to keep the game hyped and very alive as well as try to attract as many people as possible, keeping the game fresh for at least 3 years, when Bam! by the 4th year they'll probably have that MMO released... but then again, I could be wrong because I can't see WotLK keeping WoW alive for 4 years. not to mention the fact that they're already starting to bring the new MMO to media attention.

I guess that means I wont be showing up there either then.

2 things about the barbarian artwork

1) is that an offensive gauntlet on his left arm if it is then SWEET!
2) did his shoulder pads get a little smaller?? or am I just seeing things.
